The plan is fairly straightforward; you’ll use two Vel’Koz equipped with full-damage items to eliminate the opposition’s carry and essentially win the battle as a result (Vel’Koz will target the enemy champion who has dealt the most damage to this round). The plan became very stable on stage 4 and, if properly executed, in early stage 5, it will be possible to rush a level 9.

Double Vel'Koz strategy dominates TFT Set 8 1

The crucial aspect of this comp is that it advances to level 7 in 4-1 with a strong front-line and enough gold to roll for a double Vel’Koz. The four mascots are generally good, but if you can find both 2 stars, you may switch to the Rammus and Cho’Gath. They help a little with damage as well, and if the Cho’Gath is well placed, it’s really simple to take out the opponent carry with the combo of cho + vel + vel. It’s crucial to stock the Vel’Kozs with as many damaging items as you can.

Double Vel'Koz strategy dominates TFT Set 8 2

Therefore, you can deploy Mascots front line with some AP carry, such as Lux, Lulu, Yummi, Ezreal, Jinx, etc., to travel until level 4. It’s a simple method for making the switch.

Double Vel'Koz strategy dominates TFT Set 8 3

Following stabilization, you can either move up to level 8 to roll for a rammus-3 or cho’gath-3 if some of them are close, or level 9 to strengthen the board with some legendary or powerful 4 prices. The best options are:

  • Janna: active 3 civilians and addition CC
  • Leona: active Aegis and execute 1 chess (best counter mech front)
  • Fiddlestick: CC
  • Mordekaiser: More damage
  • Ekko: active Aegis and tank

You can choose any augment that makes sense for the comp from the available options (Vel’koz frostburn is insane, though).

Double Vel'Koz strategy dominates TFT Set 8 4

Mascot emblems are decent; at level 8, Nunu may complete four of them. Additionally, there is a Civilian symbol, making it simple to get three civilians, giving the Vel’Koz incredible mana generation.

This strategy is OP at the moment, which can easily dominate the whole Set 8 until next patch. Don’t forget to try it before too late!

VALORANT – Esports Game of the Year 2022

With 1.5 million viewers tuning in for the grand final of Valorant Champions 2022, Riot Games’ tactical FPS has officially won Esports Game of the Year, besting its popular MOBA game League of Legends.

Jaccob of Cloud9 says, “Yay!” Whiteaker triumphed against legends and veterans from League of Legends and CS:GO to win the Esports PC Player of the Year award.

When it was first released in June 2020, Valorant immediately became well-known as a 5v5 tactical shooter game that competed with CS:GO.

valorant

Its rapidly expanding esports sector, which now includes three international LAN tournaments in Reykjavik, Copenhagen, and Istanbul, has evolved by leaps and bounds in just two short years.

The game is ready to emulate League of Legends by adopting a league structure with three worldwide leagues and a total of 30 associated teams starting in 2019.

Overwatch superstars like Ha “Sayaplayer” Jung-woo and Lee “Carpe” Jae-hyeok are currently playing for T1, one of the partnered teams in the Pacific league, as it continues to draw some of the greatest names from other esports.

How Rammus dominate the Jungle in League Season 13 https://notagamer.net/how-rammus-dominate-the-jungle-in-league-season-13/ https://notagamer.net/how-rammus-dominate-the-jungle-in-league-season-13/#respond Sat, 10 Dec 2022 03:06:31 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=56139 Rammus has quickly ascended to the top of the League of Legends food chain thanks to a variety of jungle adjustments that give more sustain for eliminating jungle camps and Season 13’s new tank Mythics.

Rammus has only been used in a few extremely particular League of Legends meta. He was always intended to be a counterbalance to the dense AD compositions.

Rammus is not the kind of champion who ought to be selected and given priority in every match. Instead, he was created as a reaction to a variety of unique circumstances. He has been effectively knocked out of that niche and into supremacy by the introduction of new tank equipment.

How Rammus dominate the Jungle in League Season 13 5

According to u.gg, Rammus’ victory rate has increased to nearly 56%, making him the champion with the highest win rate in League of Legends Season 13.

Rammus top win rate Season 13

Rammus wasn’t given a buff in patch 12.23, thus research is necessary to determine what makes him so powerful. This is a typical instance of a champion being adversely affected by other game changes that cause them to become excessively powerful.

How Rammus dominate the Jungle in League Season 13 6

Nevertheless, it won’t take you long to track down the criminals in this situation. Through Season 12 and into pre-season 13, Rammus received six buffs that together increased his power over the year.

This champion is now truly unstoppable thanks to all those boosts and a specific tank Mythic.

How Rammus dominate the Jungle in League Season 13 7

The secret to Rammus’ success is Jak’Sho. It’s a Mythic item that was introduced at the beginning of Season 13 and gives him the sustain his kit typically needs while rewarding him for remaining in fights with its passive protection stacking. The perfect storm for this champion has been formed by the combination of that, Sunfire’s buffs, and Abyssal Mask’s sustain, which make up for the value Rammus loses by choosing not to equip armor.

Rammus is a very healthy jungler because of how little damage he takes when clearing camps, and it’s also a lot simpler for junglers to sustain from clearing camps than it was in patch 12.22.

It’s difficult to tell if Rammus has been good all this time and no one has noticed, or if the new things have actually made a significant difference in his power level. In any case, this jungler has propelled himself fast to the top of League of Legends.

LoL Esports to debut new Kickoff Event for 2023 Season – goodbye All-Star https://notagamer.net/lol-esports-to-debut-new-kickoff-event-for-2023/ https://notagamer.net/lol-esports-to-debut-new-kickoff-event-for-2023/#respond Fri, 09 Dec 2022 15:23:52 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=56100 League of Legends fans have anticipated seeing their favorite players team up for some lighthearted, entertaining games at the annual All-Star tournament ever since it made its debut in 2013.

LoL Esports to debut new Kickoff Event for 2023 Season - goodbye All-Star 9

However, Riot Games is retiring from the competition after eight years. Instead, the Season Kickoff, a brand-new worldwide event, will make its debut. Nine regions from around the world will host a special broadcasted event on Saturday, January 10, and Sunday, January 11, which will preview the upcoming season and its numerous storylines while highlighting particular players to watch around the world.

The LCS, LEC, LCK, LPL, LJL, CBLOL, LLA, PCS, and VCS are the nine regions that will attend the Season Kickoff. Along with a preview of what’s to come in the world of LoL Esports, the broadcast will also give viewers a rundown of the various changes surrounding Summoner’s Rift for 2023.

Riot added that, despite the fact that the tournament has provided fans with memories to last a lifetime, the pro players’ current competitive schedule could be challenging. This is why they were changing the All-Star event. Players get a much-needed break between seasons with the Season Kickoff, and fans can enjoy the scene while anticipating the esports future.

You’ll need to be patient, though, as Riot will be providing more information on the event’s format and schedule in the coming weeks.

Ivern is the new King of Bugs this Preseason? https://notagamer.net/ivern-is-the-new-king-of-bugs-this-preseason/ https://notagamer.net/ivern-is-the-new-king-of-bugs-this-preseason/#respond Thu, 08 Dec 2022 09:56:49 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=56053 The Preseason 2023 releases tons of changes to the Jungle, as the result, the Green Father – Ivern became the Bug Father!

Ivern & Daisy’s bugs:

Passive (Friend of the forest):

Q + Mark:

When you Q (dash) and instantly mark a camp, the channel animation will go off BUT the camp will not be marked and Ivern does not lose any mana or health. The bug is rare-ish but happens from time to time.

Unable to mark a camp without a big monster:

If an enemy invades and slays the big monster while leaving the small monster, Ivern will be unable to mark the camp by clicking on the small monster, unless he is standing right next to it.

Q (Rootcaller):

Q to Auto-Attack range and not melee:

Sometimes when Ivern tries to Q (dash) to a jungle camp, over a wall, the dash will go to his old AA range and not dash him over walls.

W (Brushmaker):

Invisible brush = Camouflage for Ivern:

This bug was fixed months, if not a year ago but it is still super easy to do. Ivern can raise brushes inside certain walls to create a small camouflage zone (a bit similar to invisibility) as long as the enemy does not have a vision of the biggest patch of the brush.

  • A brush raised by Brushmaker is invisible in the fog of war until an enemy spots it, by champion vision or ward, which is why the bug works. I just want to highlight that making his brushes “viewable” through the fog of war should fix it, but would be a huge nerf to him.

E (Triggerseed)

Deals no damage when the target times out/dies.

Triggerseed deals no damage/slows enemies in the explosion radius of the animation when the target with the shield dies or times out. Should it function similar to a Zilean Q, based on the animation going off?

(Display bug) Incorrect magic pen calculation:

The damage displayed when an ally causes damage with Ivern’s E is calculated with Ivern’s magic pen even though the actual damage calculation uses the ally’s magic pen (correctly).

R (Daisy!)

CC = Unresponsive:

When Daisy is hit by CC effects she becomes unresponsive/sluggish, which can often cause her to bug out/stutter while walking. Whenever she starts to stutter she will move a short distance and then stop, you need to input another movement command to get her to move again.

The bug has a workaround, if you target Ivern with Daisy (R or CTRL + Right Click, follow mode), the bug will no longer affect Daisy.

This bug is especially prevalent Vs knock-ups/backs (Graves and RekSai) and longer duration CC effects (Shaco Box/Veigar cage)

Some bugs seem to exist since the release of Ivern, and players are demanding Riot to pay attention to the Green Father

LOL Dev Team: There will be no Nexus Blitz by the end of 2022 https://notagamer.net/lol-dev-team-there-will-be-no-nexus-blitz-2022/ https://notagamer.net/lol-dev-team-there-will-be-no-nexus-blitz-2022/#respond Thu, 08 Dec 2022 09:09:10 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=56051 Nexus Blitz will not be returning at this time, despite Riot having previously stated that they will close the year with it. Unfortunately, unrelated development on a separate aspect of the game disrupted some of the NB UI experience.

Since they made the original promise in 2021 to bring back Nexus Blitz, the League team lost some key people that would’ve been involved in this. Rehiring for roles and onboarding new members takes time that impacts respective projects.

This means the amount of work to fix Nexus Blitz will take longer than Riot had hoped, and isn’t something they were able to complete in time for the end of 2022. So the dev had to make the call to not run it.

Nexus Blitz

The dev team apologizes for not being able to fulfill players’ requests for the return of Nexus Blitz at this time; they realize that this is not the news players were hoping for.

The Dev team prioritized the most current ARAM changes when working on live modes, but they also have plans for other, both new and ancient, regions. Early in the next year, Riot will offer a more thorough update on both what led to the tragedy and the future of League’s modes.

Best meta comps in TFT Set 8 patch 12.23 https://notagamer.net/best-meta-comps-in-tft-set-8-patch-12-23/ https://notagamer.net/best-meta-comps-in-tft-set-8-patch-12-23/#respond Thu, 08 Dec 2022 08:49:00 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=56015 With patch 12.23, TFT Set 8 has finally been released. To succeed as Monsters Attack, you must put together the greatest possible comps. Fortunately, we have a guide to the best meta builds so you can dominate your ranked grind.

With TFT Set 8’s introduction of the autobattler to the Spatulopolis in Monsters Attack, the Dragonlands are now in the past. This entails learning about new champions and attributes, mechanics like Hero Augments, and more in order to begin the ranking grind.

We’ve got you covered with a meta guide to some of the top TFT Set 8 comps—as of patch 12.23—if you’re looking for a simple place to start.

Although it’s always best to play flexibly with your equipment and augments, these builds are the most reliable for securing Top 4 finishes and victories, allowing you to move up the ladder as quickly as possible.

Best meta comps in TFT Set 8 patch 12.23

Bel’Veth / Aurelion Sol

Threats, a brand-new Trait mechanic that hasn’t appeared in any other expansion, was introduced in TFT Set 8. Threat itself doesn’t provide any benefits, despite the fact that some champions fall under the banner. The individual champions are quite powerful, though, and can be included in any composition as a result.

What if, though, you decided to make every threat in your comp? That’s conceivable, and this particular TFT Set 8 board has one of the highest caps. When you play around all eight threats and attain the Threat Level: Maximum Gold Augment, your team gains a ton of base stats that are challenging to overcome.

Best meta comps in TFT Set 8 patch 12.23 10

Early on, you want to play as quickly as you can while conserving as much health as you can. Slam AD items on units like Wukong and AP items on Lulu. You’ll be good to go if you can reach Level 8 at Stage 4-5 or 5-1 while collecting Threats along the route.

As your main carry, you should roll down for your final board at Level 8 with upgrades of at least Bel’Veth 2 and Aurelion Sol 2. Although Rammus and Cho’Gath provide damage-specific flexibility, Zac is your main frontline. As TFT patch 12.23 goes live, the full Threat comp is arguably the strongest if you have the correct Augments.

Miss Fortune Anima Squad

One of the best vertical qualities is Anima Squad, especially if you can earn it from Stages 1-4 or 2-1. When the late-game battles begin, being able to quickly accumulate Fame and obtain the health bonus for all of your units can make all the difference.

The most well-known Anima Squad carry is Miss Fortune, however, Jinx and Vayne can be useful if you get the correct Hero Augments. Otherwise, it’s simpler to concentrate on the four-cost Ace.

Best meta comps in TFT Set 8 patch 12.23 11

Pushing 4 Ace is a bit of bait because it renders your team overly weak offensively for very little gain. As an alternative, it is preferable to have a powerful frontline with either 3 Anima Squad and splash defensive characteristics like Brawler and Aegis, or 7 Anima Squad for the significant offensive boost if you manage to acquire an Emblem on the board.

Riven can handle all of your defensive items, but Miss Fortune can easily slam AP boosters like Rabadon’s Deathcap and Spear of Shojin (she lacks mana generation). If necessary, AD items can be placed on Vayne, but if you keep acquiring too many swords, it might not be worthwhile to play Miss Fortune.

Talon / Viego Ox Force

In TFT patch 12.23, Ox Force is the other very potent vertical characteristic to base your strategy around. The 6 Ox Force comps were a little underestimated on PBE, but they quickly took over the charts after they become “meta” near the end of the testing period.

Talon reroll and Viego carry are the two main variants. Both play very differently, although they can produce boards that appear very similar in the end. In order to acquire the one-cost carry with Talon reroll, you should get a Talon Hero Augment early—either one—and roll aggressively at Level 5. You can veer off course and play either vertical Ox Force or 3 Supers 3 Renegades.

Best meta comps in TFT Set 8 patch 12.23 12

Viego levels up more conventionally, reaching Level 8 by about Stage 4-5 or 5-1. Contrary to popular belief, Viego prefers AP items, therefore great picks include Deathcap, Jeweled Gauntlet, and even Ionic Spark. To secure the resets, Bloodthirster for healing is also beneficial. Talon should not receive AD items, as Aphelios poses a greater threat in the late game.

The core members of the Six Ox Force are Talon, Alistair, Fiora, Aphelios, and Annie. You can substitute Annie for a Duelist like Zed if you can hit an Emblem. Your tempo mostly hinges on how many Talons and the Hero Augment you get early on. Play Talon if you do. Viego is simpler to play if not.

“Most frustrating champs” – Yuumi is getting a big rework in 2023 https://notagamer.net/yuumi-is-getting-a-big-rework-in-2023/ https://notagamer.net/yuumi-is-getting-a-big-rework-in-2023/#respond Thu, 08 Dec 2022 07:10:25 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=56013 Finally, Yuumi the Cat is going to be reworked!

Due to a bothersome feline champion during the past year, League of Legends gamers have swiftly developed a dislike for cats. One of the most notorious supports in the game, Yuumi is dangerous to deal with in both solo queue and competitive play. Fortunately, Riot Games has a redesign of the Curious Cat planned for the following year.

Riot planning to rework Yuumi

“We think there’s a better place for Yuumi where we can deliver on her gameplay fantasy for her players while also making her less frustrating to play against, We’re giving her a decently sized nerf to temporarily address some of her more frustrating features and curbing her power in both elite and pro play. However, we definitely don’t see this as the final, long-term solution for this champion.”

Riot on patch 12.23 notes
"Most frustrating champs" - Yuumi is getting a big rework in 2023 13

Whether it was her supremacy over the international competition scene or her regular play time in ranked play, Yuumi’s effectiveness in 2022 has been well-documented. For instance, according to Oracle’s Elixir, at the 2022 World Championship, this killer kitty was prohibited in 85% of all games during the group stage of the competition, with a 100% win percentage in the eight games she snuck through the draft.

According to League analytics aggregator U.GG, Yuumi has remained a top-choice support for the last five patches in the solo queue. The fact that Yuumi hasn’t been as successful in ranked play as she has been in pro play, though, shows how much better professionals are at using the champion’s complete kit than solo queue players.

"Most frustrating champs" - Yuumi is getting a big rework in 2023 14

In order to reduce a player’s propensity to quit their bottom lane duo throughout a match, Riot instead wants to strengthen counterplay against Yuumi while she’s attached to an ally but also make her more dependent on her lane’s success. Devs are also working to reduce her powerful crowd control output, scaling, and damage while highlighting her defensive skills.

When Riot publishes the upcoming Quick Gameplay Thoughts, further information regarding this rework will be available.

New Mythic item – Heartsteel is nerfed but only in ARAM https://notagamer.net/new-mythic-item-heartsteel-is-nerfed-but-in-aram/ https://notagamer.net/new-mythic-item-heartsteel-is-nerfed-but-in-aram/#respond Tue, 29 Nov 2022 17:18:59 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=55637 The newest Mythic item in League of Legends, Heartsteel, is about to get nerfed, but not on Summoner’s Rift. According to League’s lead designer Matt Leung-Harrison today, it will only be nerfed in ARAM.

Heartsteel was released during the preseason and immediately became popular, which caused some problems for the developers. Since its release, many players have regarded it as one of the strongest items in the meta.

New Mythic item - Heartsteel is nerfed but only in ARAM 15

The item’s active skill had a general nerf earlier this month. It is now receiving a further nerf on the same subject, but exclusively in ARAM.

According to Matt Leung-Harrison, the item’s “high highs (and low lows) that aggravate frustration” are the cause of the nerf.

Even though it isn’t completely balanced, it won’t be changed on the Summoner’s Rift because it isn’t overly powerful: the programmer claimed that being a must-buy for “certain” champions is “intended for any item” and that this item is stronger at lower levels than at higher Elo. The tank meta will also be actively watched, and the item might be changed again shortly.

New Mythic item - Heartsteel is nerfed but only in ARAM 16

The Mythic item, which provides tanks with priceless benefits, has been added to the League’s preseason roster. Health, base health regeneration, and the ability haste are all significantly increased.

Additionally, it features the one-of-a-kind active talent Colossal Consumption, which charges a special strike with increased damage in accordance with the character’s maximum health.

New Mythic item - Heartsteel is nerfed but only in ARAM 17

Heartsteel will be modified along with Patch 12.23, which goes live on December 7 and includes numerous other adjustments to tank champions and equipment.
