The writer let slip that three new characters will join the lineup, and Jason Spisak, the voice behind Silco, promised fans that his character will be back for more action.

And now, Ella Purnell, the voice of Jinx, is adding to the buzz by sharing her emotional journey recording lines for the new season. She recently went back to the studio for some touch-ups on the finale and ended up getting teary-eyed during the session. In an interview, she hinted that viewers might need some tissues for Season 2.

“It’s devastating, and nobody will feel good after watching it,” 

Voicing Jinx, Ella brings to life the younger sister of Vi, known for her chaotic and unpredictable nature. While Ella dropped hints about what’s to come, Riot Games is keeping Season 2’s plot tightly under wraps.

As the community eagerly awaits their arrival on official servers, the spotlight videos for each of these skins have only heightened the excitement.

For those unfamiliar with the Cafe Cuties theme, it transports League of Legends champions into an alternate universe where they find employment at a captivating cosplay cafe.

Launched in 2021, this skin line has rapidly garnered a dedicated fan base, thanks to its imaginative and charming designs. Notable entries include Bard, Sivir, Gwen, and others, contributing to the popularity of the collection.

With the expected release aligning with Patch 13.21, scheduled to go live on October 25th, fans can anticipate the grand reveal of these enchanting additions to the Cafe Cuties family.

The Gentle Flamce will be another enchanter support, protecting and empowering his teammates in order to maximize their damage.

There are a few champions, however, who will profit the most from Milio’s skill set, as he increases speed and attack range with a couple of his abilities. Since all of Milio’s powers have been revealed, here are the best bot lane champions to pair with him.

Caitlyn

For good cause, the devs believe Caitlyn and Milio will be the next Lucian and Nami. Caitlyn already has the longest base-attack range in the game, and with the Gentle Flame, she’ll have even more to poke.

Caitlyn prefers to be partnered with someone who has CC because it enables her to set traps and increase her damage output. Milio is an exception due to the Attack Range boost he can provide Caitlyn, which will make her an even larger bottom lane bully.

She’s also not the most mobile ADC, so the mov speed and protection are essential. Even his Fired Up passive can provide Caitlyn with a significant amount of early burst potential.

Jinx

Jinx’s primary issue is her inability to maneuver well in team battles due to her CC proclivity. Milio greatly assists Jinx with his ultimate, which eliminates all crowd control and heals his teammates. Jinx can also gain mobility speed from his shield, which will aid her kite in team battles.

Milio can also assist Jinx in team battles by knocking back foes attempting to CC her. Not to mention that the increased attack range buff will allow Jinx to strike securely from the backline with her rockets.

Kog’Maw

Kog’maw has recently dropped out of the meta due to his lack of movement, as he is unable to play the game while Flash is on cooldown. Milio can use his ultimate to heal Kog’Maw and get him out of CC without the need for Flash. He, like Jinx, will benefit from his movement speed barrier. Kog’Maw’s attack range will also synergize with his attack range boost, making Kog’Maw’s range irritating for his opponents.

Senna

Senna has the game’s second-longest basic attack range, and it will increase as she collects more souls, and if she hits her enemies with Piercing Darkness, they’ll be slowed enough for Milio to throw his Ultra Mega Fire Kick and layer the slows one after the other. Senna and Milio also have excellent crowd control, allowing them to lock down multiple players while the rest of the team go all-in on whoever they’ve hit.

Players might be able to take down important objectives without even being close to them thanks to Milio, the upcoming League of Legends champion, and in some instances, dangerously quickly.

Milio and four ally ADCs were seen bringing down a full-health turret from inside the top jungle in a recent brief video shared on Twitter by Vandiril, a well-known League content creator who frequently highlights flaws and exploits the game.

Even though this was against bots, it still demonstrates how some formidable champions could become even more lethal thanks to League’s upcoming champion. In a co-op versus bots game, Vandiril was showing this tactic flawlessly without any opposition interfering, which isn’t typically how things would go down.

ADCs in numerous roles at once have recently benefited from meta shifts in both solo queue and competitive play. Theoretically, Milio could use a group like this to equip all of his marksmen allies—who already have a respectable long range—and give them the ability to destroy important objectives like turrets, dragons, and even the Baron from outside of their auto-attack range.

Each of the champions shown in the video does possess a natural ability to extend their range without Milio’s assistance. Players will probably need to buy a Rapid Firecannon in order to effectively outrange turrets from this distance without using champions like Jinx, Kog’Maw, or Caitlyn because Milio will give them even more range.

However, despite producing unforgettable moments, such an unconventional team makeup may not be the best choice for winning the majority of games. Milio, the Gentle Flame will be released on League of Legends live servers in patch 13.6, on March 22.

The original animated League of Legends adaptation, Arcane, follows Vi and Powder through the twin towns of Piltover and Zaun. It debuted on Netflix in 2021 to acclaim from both devoted League of Legends players and newbies. The stunning show was created by Fortiche Productions, a French animation company in which Riot Games revealed a substantial investment following the triumph of the first season.

Will Arcane Season 2 be released in 2023, as the two-year milestone of the first season approaches?

Arcane Season 2 release date

The only formal announcements about Arcane’s second season have been that it’s ongoing and in production at Fortiche Productions, which happened soon after the first season’s finale broadcast. The trailer featured previously taped lines from Caitlyn, Vi, and Jinx, as well as Warwick’s trademark howl and champion tune.

This demonstrated that Riot Games and Fortiche had already planned, taped sound effects, and speech for the second season. Considering the assembly-line nature of animated creation, significant portions of Arcane Season 2 may have already been completed.

Riot Games CEO Nicolo Laurent has stated that Arcane’s second season will not be released in 2022, but has made no further remarks. 2022 has gone, and there has been no word on the show’s status.

What will Arcane Season 2 be about?

Season 2 of the series has been announced as the concluding season, which will follow Vi and Jinx as well as the tale of Piltover and Zaun. When asked to sum up the second season, showrunners Alex Yee and Christian Linke came up with “war, magic, and sex.” Given that the first season concludes with Jinx’s assault on the Piltover Council, war between Piltover and Zaun is most probable.

The developer recently provided LoL and FGC fans with an update on Project L’s development status and provided a brief preview of its fighting system.

Here is all we currently know about Project L, including its characters, commands, and rollback netcode information.

Project L

The League of Legends creator Riot Games is working on a free-to-play, assist-based fighting game called Project L.

The game will include several League of Legends champions as well as Runeterra locations like Piltover and Zaun.

As executive producer and technical lead, respectively, Tom and Tony Cannon are in charge of overseeing the game’s development. Additionally, the two co-founded the GGPO rollback netcode scheme and the Evolution Championship Series, a famous FGC event.

Release date

Project L’s release date has not yet been made public.

The most recent official update from Riot Games occurred in November 2021 and it covered RiotX Arcane-related gameplay mechanics and new characters.

Fighters

So far, there would be five League of Legends champions being tested by the developer:

• Ahri
• Darius
• Ekko
• Jinx
• Katarina
• Illaoi

Basic controls

Players choose a main fighter and an assist character who aids in attacks and extends combinations in the 2.5D format of the game.

The most recent video highlighted Darius’ combos and demonstrated the kinds of inputs fans of fighting games may anticipate.

The game has so far shown two command kinds with three versions each, A and S. (A1, A2, and A3).

Moreover, fighters will also have special moves that can be used for a flashy combo.

Rollback netcode

The game is confirmed to use rollback netcode for online multiplayer.

Riot Games has said that during latency spikes, just the player who is lagging would be impacted for the duration of the game. The netcode can decide who should win and who should be penalized if a player withdraws from a match.

Riot Direct will be used by Project L to route gamers and reduce latency during online gaming. League of Legends and Valorant have already begun using this internal network.

Riot is now hard at work on the next fighting game: Project L. No name has been revealed as of yet, but perhaps the big reveal will come in the following weeks.

Riot Games hasn’t released much information on Project L. This is to be expected, considering they stated in their teaser all those years ago that they were going ‘dark.’

Project L could be introduced at this year’s EVO?

However, other reports suggest that the League of Legends fighting title will be available at this year’s EVO, or at the very least, a more in-depth display.

They indicated in their most recent talk that the updates will take place somewhere in the second half of 2022. With EVO coming on August 5th, we should get a more in-depth demonstration of what the game is all about.

Riot might do it again, given that they formally introduced Project L at EVO 2019.

EVO is the world’s largest fighting game event, as well as one of the oldest esports events, thus making an introduction to the game here would be ideal. Riot will most likely make their move during EVO 2022 to get people pumped up for this upcoming game.

We last heard anything about Project L eight months ago, with a brief teaser during the Riot x Arcane event. We saw Ekko and Jinx with a Piltover backdrop, so we’re hoping for a lot more information in the following weeks.

Fortnite, Epic Games’ battle royale game, is known for its enormous collaborations, so it came as no surprise when they collaborated with League of Legends’ Netflix series Arcane, adding Jinx to the game in her own skin.

Vi, also a character from the series, was subsequently introduced with the release of Fortnite’s v19.10 update.

And it appears that Epic Games is not done yet. According to Fortnite leaker HYPEX, the next Fortnite x Arcane collaboration would introduce Mel Medarda, the ambitious and scary politician, to the game.

This information reached HYPEX from two distinct sources, both of which he claims were right on many occasions. The unidentified sources reportedly made no mention of a release date for the alleged crossover.

However, fan reaction has been mixed, with many expressing disappointments. Caitlyn, who plays a larger role in the main character’s journey, is preferred by some. On the other side, some fans would also want to see some other characters like Ekko, too.

Given the regularity with which Fortnite characters cross over, it’s just a matter of time until additional League of Legends characters appear.

League of Legends Arcane season 2 is planned to come in 2023, therefore we won’t know until there is an official release or announcement.

At the point of release Arcane quickly became the most popular series on Netflix, and achieved the highest first-week ratings ever on the platform. The show received public and critical acclaim with praise directed at its animation, story, worldbuilding, action sequences, characters, emotional weight, music and voice acting.

Most notably, the show appealed to both people not familiar with LoL as well as its massive fanbase. As a testament, LoL’s active monthly accounts went from 120 million to 180 million post-Arcane, a whopping 50% increase and unthinkable for a game that’s decade-old. Arcane singlehandedly propelled LoL past Minecraft as the most popular video game on the planet.

Now critics are officially recognizing Arcane’s standout performance.

The Primetime Emmy Awards recognize excellence in American primetime television programming. It is considered one of the 4 major American awards for performing arts and entertainment, alongside Grammy (music), Oscars (film) and Tony (stage theatre)

The nominations for this year’s ceremony were announced today with Arcane receiving the following:

• Outstanding Sound Editing for a Comedy or Drama Series (Half-Hour) and Animation: Brad Beaumont, Eliot Connors, Shannon Beaumont, Alex Ephraim, Alexander Temple, Alex Seaver, Dan O’Connell, John Cucci for “When These Walls Come Tumbling Down”

The main ceremony will be broadcast in the United States on Monday September 12 from 8-11PM EDT / 5-8PM PDT on NBC.

Unfortunately, Arcane will most likely not win any categories

Competitions include big household names like Rick and Morty, What if … (Marvel), The Simpsons, etc

However the most decisive factor is that the academy members who will vote on the awards likely have never seen Arcane.

For years the Oscars have awarded Best Animated Feature to Pixar or Disney’s way inferior products compared to Japanese masterpieces from Studio Ghibli or recent breakouts like Makoto Shinkai’s Your Name. Kimi no Na wa did not even get nominated despite being a massive hit.

The reason being, well, the academy is too old to watch cartoons and they apparently just vote for whatever their grandkids watch. These Awards being American-made and therefore rightfully American-centric and biased don’t help either.

So LoL fans shouldn’t have to feel disappointed even if Arcane does not bring home any prestige.

But if the awards are essentially irrelevant, why are we talking about it? Is this even newsworthy?

Regardless of how we view them, the Emmys do receive widespread media coverage and name recognition. Arcane being nominated alone is already good PR and will help improve LoL and Arcane’s popularity. Given Arcane’s stellar quality, Riot being incentivized to create more is a huge boon for us the player base. Season 2 has already been confirmed.

In a pool of increasing competitive gaming market, maintaining popularity is compulsory lest we end up like LoL’s ill-fated ex-nemesis Heroes of Newerth.

And who knows, Arcane might pull off a major upset at the ceremony!
