The next update for League of Legends is approaching. With the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) now over, the developers are focusing on fine-tuning the game after the significant changes in Patch 14.10, which altered ADC items and more.

Riot Games to provide more Quality Patches on Champion Balancing from now on https://notagamer.net/riot-games-quality-patches-champion-balancing/ https://notagamer.net/riot-games-quality-patches-champion-balancing/#respond Tue, 07 Mar 2023 09:58:51 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=59201 League players can anticipate higher-quality champion balancing going forward as the devs committed to putting more effort on them.

In Riot Games’ recent Quick Gameplay thoughts published on March 6, Riot Games devs disclosed the path of League’s updates on which they will be concentrating in the future. They clarified that their primary objective is to concentrate more on their patches, which entails taking one or more champions into consideration and attempting to make adjustments that will feel noticeably better to play.

The devs also mentioned that they always approached champion adjustments in two different methods. One of them was just to slightly increase or decrease their amounts to buff or nerf them, accordingly.

Riot Games to provide more Quality Patches on Champion Balancing from now on 2
Image via Riot Games

“Over the last couple years, we’ve tended to do most buffs and nerfs as what we call “bucket changes””

We also have a category of work we call “patch work” where we take a longer period of time to do a more careful change intended to solve some larger problem or to make a champion feel noticeably better to play”

The second involved giving up a week or two to one in order to make the shift feel more cautious and to work with them to resolve some challenging problems.

“We’ve always had both types of work in our toolkit, but we’re placing more emphasis on patch work specifically for buffs right now,”

As a result, League players should anticipate enhancements that boost “the feel of a champion” rather than necessarily making champions significantly better.

The two champions Pantheon and Azir, who will receive their updates in Patch 13.5, which launches this week on March 8, have already been revealed by Riot Games with these kinds of adjustments.

These modifications are already somewhat known to us because they have been incorporated into the PBE systems.

Nearly all of Azir’s abilities will undergo substantial changes in order to reduce his competitive proficiency and boost his win rate in solo queues. Updates will also be made to Pantheon in the same direction to make him feel more like a Spartan champion.

Ashen Knight Mordekaiser reportedly got leaked https://notagamer.net/ashen-knight-mordekaiser-leaked/ https://notagamer.net/ashen-knight-mordekaiser-leaked/#respond Sat, 12 Nov 2022 14:16:20 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=54613 Ashen Knight Mordekaiser is rumored to be the next Mythic skin in the Ashen Knight skin collection

Riot Games revealed in preseason 2022 that they will redesign the Mythic content. Along with the reworked Mythic content, Riot would also remove the Hextech skin line in favor of the seasonal Mythic skin line. Riot did introduce a new seasonal skin line, and the mythic skin line for season 12 is known as Ashen Knight.

The skin Ashen Knight Pyke, was a major success, sending it to the top of the ladder. Because of the success, Riot released Ashen Knight Pantheon a few months later, followed by Ashen Slayer Sylas.

And now, it is rumored that the next Ashen Knight skin will be Mordekaiser.

With the end of Season 12 approaching, Riot Games will release a mythic Ashen Knight skin for the final time. BigBadBear, a well-known League of Legends leaker, recently leaked the information that Mordekaiser will acquire the final mythic Ashen Knight skin in his latest video.

However, he stated that it is an old leak, but it is uncertain that Riot Games will modify the choice, making Morderkaiser the potential champion to acquire the skin line.

Furthermore, BigBadBear stated that the Ashen Knight skin line will soon no longer be a seasonal Mythic skin line. It would instead be a standard skin collection featuring legendary and epic skins that would return in 2023 or 2024.

The Ashen Knight Mordekaiser is expected to be added to League of Legends in Patch 12.23 on December 7, according to the leaks. However, these dates haven’t been confirmed by Riot, so changes should be made from time to time.

Top TFT Set 7.5 Dragon comps in patch 12.20b https://notagamer.net/top-tft-set-7-5-dragon-comps-in-patch-12-20b/ https://notagamer.net/top-tft-set-7-5-dragon-comps-in-patch-12-20b/#respond Thu, 27 Oct 2022 17:55:23 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=53962 We’ve got you covered with a meta guide to some of the top Set 7 comps as of TFT patch 12.20b.

There is much to learn in these Uncharted Realms in the new TFT Set 7.5. The Convergence meta is still in flux, but we have you covered with the top compositions you should try on patch 12.20b to keep up your ranked grind.

Players can now explore Uncharted Realms in TFT Set 7.5 after spending the previous three months in Dragonlands. Numerous new units and augments were included with the Mid-Set update, and the metagame is undoubtedly changing.

Top Dragon comps in TFT Set 7.5

4+ Dragons comps

Since Riot buffed Dragons and made it a chase trait, it has been a dominant force in the Convergence. Just slamming as many as you can at one time onto your board is a decent way to success — but it gets better if you can hit the ascended power of Dragon 6.

tft set 7.5 comps

Not all Dragons are built equal. You want to focus on picks like Terra and Idas for the frontline, while Ao Shin, Daeja, Shyvana, or even Shi Oh Yu can provide your damage. Sohm isn’t a solid pick due to Mage, and the same goes for Swain and Darkflight, plus Aurelion Sol with Astral and Evoker. Zippy and Nomsy also don’t scale as well due to being Tier 3 picks.

Additionally, it’s not only dragons. Ideally, you should complete some qualities. Rakan is fantastic; he can replace Shyvana’s Ragewing and Idas’ Guardian. If you’re short on damage, Jayce isn’t the worst choice alongside Shyvana, and pushing 4 Tempest with any flex option with Ao Shin is also acceptable.

Top TFT Set 7.5 Dragon comps in patch 12.20b 8

Remember that this board is completely capped. Given that you have to move from mid-game into this, it requires a fair level of skill to hit. Take note of good item holders: although Astral and Lagoon boards can hold the AP items for damage well, cavaliers are fine for tank items. It’s time to switch once you start encountering Dragons in the late game.

Shi Oh Yu and Sy’fen comps

The Shi Oh Yu and Sy’fen dual carry board that has swept TFT off its feet completes the list as the most reliable comp of the most recent meta. It can constantly place you in the top four positions and is simple to hit without using a lot of resources.

Top TFT Set 7.5 Dragon comps in patch 12.20b 9

The Tier 4 Dragons and their two unique qualities, Jade and Whispers, are plainly at the center of the game. You have a decent mix of damage, tankiness, and shredding ability to outmuscle most boards if you can get 5 Jade in with Jax and Gnar for the two Jade Status then add 4 Whispers with Pantheon.

Top TFT Set 7.5 Dragon comps in patch 12.20b 10

If you get a high roll, you can try to push for four-cost troops like Jayce and Pantheon or three-star Dragons, all of which are important on this board.

This board may not have a higher cap than the others. However, if you want something you can play quite easily and consistently place to gradually go up the ladder, this competition is for you.

Darkflight Cannoneers and Guild Xayah have dominated the opening week of set 7.5.  So, it’s obvious that TFT patch 12.17b nerfs the two carriers of both comps, Aphelios and Xayah.

Pantheon and Olaf have also been doing excellently. They are also being nerfed when the patch is settled.

Olaf’s starting mana has been reduced, and he will get less AD from his passive after dying in each stage. Pantheon’s ability will now do less damage at all tiers and his mana will now be locked for the whole duration of his spell.

The updates have already gone live on September 13 at this time of the day now so players should expect some changes (although it is minor).

Triumphant return of Pantheon jungle and much needed Seraphine nerf

According to PBE changes, Pantheon’s Q monster damage is going from 70% to 120% giving him the clear boost required of an effective jungler once again

The champion currently sits at measly 45.56% winrate with a 1.3% pick rate at Platinum+ according to u.gg, mostly played as a support. Hopefully this buff will give him some spotlight again.

Seraphine on the other hand has enjoyed a whopping 54.14% winrate as botlaner, and a nerf was long overdue.

Massive TP, potions, runes and objective changes are also coming in Patch 12.14, and most likely will determine World’s meta. TL;DR: Get fucked, top lane!

Riot to make Ashen Knight Pantheon different from Pyke 14

Despite floods of negative criticism from fans, Riot Games said on the LeaguePBE subreddit, where the developer offers forums for discussion on new skins, that the impending Ashen Knight Pantheon Mythic skin will not be changed.

Pantheon will join Pyke in the Mythic skin line Ashen Knight in Patch 12.12, which will be available only through the Mythic Essence store. It was even possible that the new Pantheon skin may be better compared to the Ashen Knight Pyke look.

However, fans earlier filled the subreddit with criticism about Pantheon’s new Mythic skin, claiming that the skin line does not accurately depict Pantheon. The criticism focused on Pantheon’s lack of armor since the skin displays him with thin cloth despite Pyke having bulky armor.

In response to the criticism, Riot stated that the team considered different choices for his armor, but they do not have time to make improvements during the PBE cycle, which may result in the skin being released late.

“This work would take much longer than the PBE window allows and is beyond the scope of changes we are able to make.”

Riot DW Platypus also explained that the team did consider player complaints about the skin’s coloration since it appeared too close to Ashen Knight Pyke. He stated that the team does not intend to confine the future of the skin line to Ashen Knight Pyke’s ghostlike gray/purple hue.

This also opens up the door to future Ashen Knight skin line having multiple variants with different color tones, similar to Ashen Knight Pantheon.

We don’t want to limit the skinline for the very same colors and tones, so we opted to not make Pantheon’s colors the same as Pyke’s.”

Patch 12.12 will include the new Pantheon skin, as well as Snow Moon Illaoi, Caitlyn, and Kayn. It seems doubtful that the skin will be modified in the near future.

Riot introduced the new Ashen Knight Pantheon skin: Release Date, and How to obtain the skin 17

Riot has just announced the newest addition to the thematic mythic skins, Ashen Knight Pantheon, which will be available in Patch 12.12

Riot has totally redesigned the Mythic Content. Only Phase 3 remains, during which the new event pass system will be introduced. Mythic Essence has replaced Gemstone and Prestige Points as the game’s new currency.

Riot stated that as part of this shift, they will stop making the Hextech skin line and create a new Mythic thematic skin.

The first Mythic skin following the redesign was Ashen Knight Pyke, and it looked stunning. Fans loved it, and nearly everyone with enough mythic essence can unlock it. However, the new skin appears to be almost as excellent as a legendary skin in League of Legends.

Riot will be testing Pyke’s new ult on the PBE, gaining infinite threshold scaling after each execution from any source 1

Riot said that a new Mythic skin would be released every three months. Following that timeline, the Ashen Knight Pantheon will be released alongside the next Mythic Shop Rotation.

Pantheon becoming the second champion to receive the skin has been circulating on social media for over a month now. If it’s even conceivable, the new Pantheon skin could be better than the Ashen Knight Pyke skin.

The skin line has received a new addition, the Unbreakable Spear, who is equipped with grayscale armor and stunning weaponry. Pantheon’s ultimate, which is accented by scary impact noises and a swarm of black and white wings, is probably the most spectacular feature of the skin. During the casting of his Ultimate, Pantheon also spread his ashen wings to burst up the skies, similar to Pyke in his Ultimate.

Ashen Knight Pantheon, similar to Pyke, is a Mythic Essence skin. The skin can only be obtained by spending Mythic Essence. When it is released, the skin will cost 100 ME. The skin will also have a chroma that can be unlocked with 40 ME.

The Ashen Knight Pantheon will be available in the next Mythic Shop cycle in Patch 12.12, which is set to take place on June 23. The skin will be available alongside the new Snow Moon skin line.

Pantheon will be the next champion to receive Ashen Knight skin? 22

As part of the new currency Mythic Essence released in season 12, throughout the year, seasonal Mythic skins will be introduced, extending the Mythic category beyond Prestige, Hextech, and limited-time skins. As part of the new thematics, Riot revealed Pyke Ashen Knight skin, a brand-new Mythic skin line, and the skin is also the very first to adopt the new Mythic Essence.

For the time being, fans are loving the excellent Ashen Knight skins and how difficult they are to obtain. And it seems that the next one appears to be Ashen Knight Pantheon, and here is the first leak corroborating that theory.

BigBadBear, a well-known leaker recognized for many of his accurate leaks, has published a video on his Youtube channel claiming that the new Ashen Knight has been leaked.

The Ashen Knight skins have a distinct aesthetic and appear to be something people would be willing to pay for. They convey a futuristic look blended with old-school knights and a touch of the ashy look. All of this adds up to a really good skin line.

This fan art might easily pass for the actual thing. Should this be the next Ashen Knight skin. The intriguing thing about Pantheon is that it makes sense as he hasn’t had a good skin in a long time, and giving him something this ‘Mythical’ would be a real joy for Pantheon players.

According to the leaker, this skin will most likely be released with patch 12.12. This implies it won’t even be on the PBE until early June with 12.11.

Pantheon buffs in Patch 12.7 might not be as strong as you expect https://notagamer.net/pantheon-buffs-patch-127-not-as-strong/ https://notagamer.net/pantheon-buffs-patch-127-not-as-strong/#respond Sat, 16 Apr 2022 03:54:51 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=44359 Pantheon hasn’t been played at high elo or in pro plays since Season 11, when he was mostly used in the jungle and flexed as top, mid, and support

With patch 12.7 arrival, Riot Games enhanced three of the champion’s skills, including his ultimate, in this pre-MSI 2022 patch, while lowering his base health regen to even them off. While these enhancements appear huge for him, they are unlikely to have an effect on his pro play pick rate in the current meta.

Pantheon buffs in Patch 12.7 might not be as strong as you expect 24
Image via Riot Games
  • Base Stats: Health Per 5: 9 >> 7.5,
  • Comet Spear (Q): Tap Q Length: 550 >> 600 Tap Q Width: 150 >> 120,
  • Aegis Assault (E): No longer slows Pantheon when moving backward,
  • Grand Starfall (R): Now falls 0.25 seconds faster.

The elimination of Aegis Assault’s slow allows him to disengage more quickly, and his faster ultimate is somewhat more dependable on ganks. Pantheon‘s only poke ability is Comet Spear, and its range has been increased while its breadth has been reduced. Due to the additional 50 units, he enjoys an even greater advantage during the laning phase against melee champions.

Despite these accolades, expert Nick “LS” De Cesare is skeptical that this will reintroduce him to the competitive play, especially in MSI.

During his League of Legends Patch 12.7 rundown, LS explained that the buffs isn’t quite as big in order for him to have enough damage in the game, while the compensation of the decrease of his health regen makes him more vulnerable.

“He doesn’t have enough damage or durability even with Aegis Assault to reliably engage upon opponents.”

“His dependency on items is so much greater than other champions who are supposed to be on a faster famine playstyle. Even when Pantheon is feasting, he’s not really feasting.”

To demonstrate his argument, LS used Talon and Qiyana Jungle, two champions that don’t require as many things to kill a champion.  Pantheon, on the other hand, does since his whole combo does not have the same potential.  Furthermore, he is less mobile than these assassins and hence more easily countered.

Overall, his base stats and equipment do not suit him in the current meta, therefore these modifications may result in making him somewhat stronger in solo queue but missing out some stats in competitive play.
