The Primordial Sovereign has made his debut on League’s PBE testing server, where players are actively experimenting with various combos and interactions on Summoner’s Rift.

During testing, players stumbled upon a revelation: Skarner can disrupt the second phase of Yone’s Soul Unbound ability using his own E ability, Ixtal’s Impact. Yone’s Soul Unbound empowers him to temporarily forsake his physical form, traversing the battlefield in spirit form to pursue adversaries. In this state, Yone gains unique advantages, such as unit passage, the ability to attack, and access to his skills. Yet, upon the ability’s conclusion, Yone swiftly returns to his original location, resuming his corporeal form.

Traditionally, once Yone initiates the return phase of his Soul Unbound ability, he becomes unstoppable. However, the revamped Skarner now possesses a potent tool to halt Yone’s momentum dead in its tracks. Ixtal’s Impact not only grants the reimagined scorpion the ability to traverse all terrain but also enables him to seize and suppress any enemies he encounters.

In a video demonstration, Skarner is seen using Ixtal’s Impact to charge forward, intercepting Yone’s trajectory as he reverts to his physical form. Instead of allowing Yone to pass through him unhindered, Ixtal’s Impact seizes Yone mid-animation, thrusting him back into the fray and nullifying the sanctuary of his original body’s location.

This newfound tactic serves as a potent countermeasure against Yone players accustomed to exploiting the safety net of their Soul Unbound ability. Skarner’s positioning along Yone’s return path can abruptly terminate his dash, ensnaring him in a vulnerable state.

Smurfing is a very popular trend in League of Legends. It’s simpler than ever to get a fresh account and start playing matches thanks to websites that aggressively offer Level 30 accounts.

However, a lot of these accounts eventually become levelled by bots and marked for cancellation. So, YouTuber Yeagerlol played on an account that threw over 40 matches with a less than 10% win rate before instantly shooting up to a 90% win rate with Yone in order to finish a YouTube challenge “Iron to Diamond” series.

While just a few champions are eligible for buffs, the specific faces that comprise this group are somewhat startling: not only are they already incredibly powerful, but they’re all largely regarded as meta or somewhat-meta selections.

Patch 13.15 will see the buff of six champions. Yasuo and Yone are both getting buffed. Since Yasuo and Yone have comparable stats, if these buffs target that feature of them specifically, they will most certainly receive the identical changes.

Seven champions are being nerfed, with Ivern appearing to bear the brunt of the damage. Kai’Sa is also getting nerfed, although to what amount is unclear. Overall, it appears like this is aimed at many of the pro play and Solo Queue games. However, how big of an impact it has on the champion remains to be seen.

The Smite interaction with summons and pets will be nerfed, resulting in adjustments to the durability of Annie’s Tibbers, Yorick’s Maiden of the Mist, and Hermerdinger’s turrets. Rell also appears in this area, indicating yet another round of adjustments affecting the champion who recently received a big midscope updates.

According to the official patch schedule, patch 13.15 for League of Legends is set to be released on August 2, 2023.

Champions that has the highest AFK rate

According to League of Graphs data, the title went to the two brothers Yasuo and Yone last year, with a 1.14% AFK rate averaged across all areas, followed by Yone at 1.01%. This year, though, we have a new king.

According to the website League of Graphs, Sett is the champion with the greatest AFK rate across all regions. He grabs the top of the iceberg with an outstanding 1.8%.

Nonetheless, there are a few variations in the list based on each region. EUW and NA are two of the most popular League of Legends servers, with a large number of players. And, according to League of Graphs statistics, Yone has the most AFKs at 1.46%, closely followed by his brother Yasuo with 1.44% on EUW.

While it is fun to know about these interesting statistics, the AFK situations in League of Legends has been increasingly occurred.

Riot has a tool called LeaverBuster that identifies these kind of players and punishes them accordingly. Players that frequently go AFK will be placed in the “low priority queue.”

Riot has classified players into levels based on how frequently they have gone AFK and disrupted a gaming environment. The penalty will differ depending on the rank they are on. Riot has also said that they will offer warnings before imposing any of the following sanctions.

Furthermore, whether their side wins or loses, games in which someone leaves will always count as a defeat for that individual.

So, it’s probably not the best idea to leave the game, huh?

Many items were updated in League of Legends Patch 13.10, and some things also underwent categorization changes. Due to the nerfs to several champions’ essential item and the subsequent drop in win rates that occurred as a result of these modifications, Riot promptly published a hotfix buff patch.

Three champions, including Yasuo, Yone, and Kindred have been added to the hotfix buff list, but before LoL Patch 13.11 goes live in two weeks, we expect to see several further hotfixes.

Kraken Slayer and Immortal Shieldbow being reclassified as legendary items have really changed the way these champions interact with those items, hence, Riot is balancing it in the patch hotfix.

Riot will increase Yasuo and Yone sustain because both rely on the item Immortal Shieldbow. Riot will shorten the cooldown of Yasuo’s wind wall, which serves as his main defensive mechanism.

Similar to this, Yone’s W’s shield is what keeps him alive. So Riot somewhat improved his shield.

Although Kindred doesn’t require Immortal Shieldbow, her HP growth has also been improved, which is a cool change. Her AD growth and E crit threshold rise, however, are the key bonuses.

If this hotfix is insufficient, we may anticipate Riot giving these champions significant upgrades in the upcoming updates. Though Riot has previously said that LoL Patch 13.11 would be a balance-follow-up one for all the changes that were implemented on live servers in this update, there may be further changes.

The Mid-Season Invitational, or MSI, is an annual international competition that brings the best teams from across the world together to compete for the title of MSI winner. The tournament, which is usually held in May, is considered the year’s second most important League of Legends event.

Riot provides MSI skins to mark the anniversary each year, usually with an MSI-specific theme. Riot revealed earlier this year that they will be releasing a new skin line for MSI 2023. The long-awaited new skin line, Inkshadow, has arrived.

Riot announced the skin line on the League of Legends official Twitter page. The skin line appears to be heavily influenced by Eastern calligraphy or ink painting.

Earlier this week, some leaked splash arts of champions of Inkshadow the skin line were seen, but not all of them. Now, with the announcement of Yone and Aurelion Sol, we can finally see the full release of the skin line.

The Inkshadow skin line features ink-like textures, giving it additional vitality and a distinct aesthetic as cosmetics. All of the skins in Inkshadow have their unique colour palette that follows the same principle of the textures being colourful while still emphasising the shadow.

Inshadow Yone uses the purple colour in a similar way. When abilities or auto attacks are utilised, the sound effects are extremely distinctive, as you can hear the subtle tone of a brush.

The same goes for Aurelion Sol, as the mystic level of the champion appears to go on a next level. His stars abilities are also covered in ink-like patterns. 

Inkshadow Yone, Aurelion Sol along with the other skins, will be available on the live servers with Patch 13.9. The skin will be available one day following the patch, on Thursday, May 4, 2023.

Riot Games has revealed the release schedules for the new Inkshadow skinline, which will be available on April 4 and April 18.

Andrei “Meddler” Van Roon, the director of League studios, verified new cosmetic designs, or new skin line, will be presented for both the Mid-Season Invitational event and the 2023 Summer event in a dev blog published earlier this March.

Following that is the leaks of the skin’s concept, said to be a hybrid between Blood Moon and the Supreme Cells skin line from Wild Rift. Only one month until the 2023 MSI begins, but League players will be able to enjoy the events beginning two days from now thanks to the newly-released Inkshadow skins.

With the skin line revealed ahead of the event’s start, players can now concentrate completely on the final few matches of the regional contests in preparation for the start of the MSI 2023.

Tanks have officially been crowned after the preseason 2023 with lots of additions and adjustments from Mythic items. Besides them, fighters are also storming the Rift with the combo Mythic item + Ravenous Hydra.

However, this gameplay will not be as effective as it is at the moment because since Ravenous Hydra will be nerfed quite a bit in patch 12.23 and the tanks will take full reign. So which champions are most capable of countering the current meta?

Fiora

Speaking of tanks, fighters and skirmishers with standard damage and high health will be the first options that players think of. Especially in the top lane with one specific champion that players can think of.

Fiora can easily take down one heavy champion with her healing and true damage kit. However, pressuring the enemy from the first stage is not easy, you will have to pressure the opponent as best as possible, the rest will be determined by your personal skills.

Hecarim

In the jungle area, Hecarim should be your go-to champion to counter tanks. Hecarim has huge damage over time and high resistance and recovery. Hecarim could easily all in and start a team fight that they wouldn’t have any chance to win.

His standard amount of damage and high movement speed will make it hard for any immobile champion to deal with, especially for tanks. The constant healing and inflicting high damage from his Q made the combat even harder for the opponents to deal with.

Yone

The mid-lane has quite a few champions who can go up well against tanks, like Yone for example. In the right hands, and with enough knowledge, he can carry any games with ease and absolutely terrorize the opponent’s both back line and frontline.

However, Yone’s power spike generally comes after two items, as this means he will have a 100 percent critical strike chance. You’ll be able to output an extremely large amount of damage in a very short space of time. Combine that will Blade of the Ruined King, no tanks are dared to 1vs1 you.

Vayne

Without too much debate, Vayne with the Silver Bolts is the No. 1 frontline destroyer in League of Legends. The true damage dealt from her will make any opponent tremble.

However, her early game is pretty terrible, and she can easily fall off if not played correctly so try to farm safe from then. In the late game is when her true form comes, Vayne can melt down tanks easily with her Silver Bolts, and if she gets approached, her Q and E can keep her safe from a distance.
