In the latest update of League of Legends, some champions are getting banned a lot, even if there’s no clear reason why. One of these champions is Draven, a classic ADC.

In the Emerald+ rankings, nearly half of the players are choosing to ban him, according to U.GG. In the higher ranks like Diamond and above, this ban rate goes even higher, reaching 56%. Interestingly, Draven isn’t considered a top-tier pick right now, which led to discussions on Reddit. Players seem to just really dislike him, regardless of his performance in the game.

“i dont even know if he is actually good at the moment. i just hate him.”

“He’s one of those champs where half the reason you ban him is to just keep him out of the game. Still has a super toxic playerbase so it’s a bonus if they dodge, but even if they don’t draven just becomes the main character of a game too easily.”

This traditional ADC is close to having a 50% ban rate in LoL Patch 14.8 2
Image via Riot Games

Many other players in the discussion shared similar feelings. It seems that Draven is one of those ADCs that just irks people, particularly those playing in the bottom lane. Some even call him a “permaban,” meaning he’s a champion that’s always banned if given the chance.

The stats support this sentiment. Despite being banned so often, Draven isn’t actually performing exceptionally well in terms of winning games. He’s ranked 17th among ADCs based on win rates. In Patch 14.8, he’s won just under half of his games in the Emerald+ ranks, according to U.GG. In the previous patch, he did slightly worse, finishing in 19th place with a similar win rate.

For comparison, the second most banned champion right now is Skarner, but his ban rate is only 26.5% across different positions like top, jungle, and support. So Draven really stands out in terms of how often he’s banned.

LoL La Ilusión 2023 Skins: Splash Arts, Prices, Release Date, and More https://notagamer.net/lol-la-ilusion-2023-skins/ https://notagamer.net/lol-la-ilusion-2023-skins/#respond Wed, 13 Sep 2023 14:24:40 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=64921 Riot is releasing a new skin line called La Ilusión for Patch 13.19

Halloween is about much more than tricks or treats, and League of Legends players are about to get a firsthand glimpse at how various cultures celebrate this holiday.

So far in 2023, we’ve seen Inkshadow, Street Demon, Soul Fighter, and many new skin line. With that said, Riot is releasing a new skin line called La Ilusión. The skin motif appears to be a nod to the Day of the Dead event, which has been held in Mexico and many other countries throughout history.

League of Legends La Ilusión skin line

Riot Games has deviated from the typical set of Halloween skins in League, this time introducing the new “La Ilusión” skin line, which has Renata Glasc, Ziggs, Draven, Qiyana, Gnar, and Nidalee engaging in post-death shenanigans.

This skin line is clearly inspired by the Mexican custom of Día de los muertos, as well as other festivals of the dead throughout other cultures, complete with colourful skulls and marigolds. Rather of mourning the deaths of others, these festivities honour their lives and the continuity of life even beyond death.

Renata Glasc also receives a Prestige version of her La Ilusión appearance in this new skin line, with the dark blues and violets of her dress and powers completely changed by golds and whites. Her abilities are still covered with flowery designs, but they now resemble the rich yellow associated with marigolds.

Wild Rift Soul Fighter Skins: Splash Arts, Prices, Release Date, and more https://notagamer.net/wild-rift-soul-fighter-skins/ https://notagamer.net/wild-rift-soul-fighter-skins/#respond Thu, 29 Jun 2023 03:22:10 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=62312 Riot has released all of the special Soul Fighter skins that will be available in Wild Rift

Riot holds enormous events across all of its titles every summer. This year will be no exception.

Around the same time last year, we received the Star Guardian event. It took place across several Riot titles, including League of Legends, Wild Rift, Legends of Runeterra, and Teamfight Tactics. While the idea was similar, each game in this event presented something completely distinct.

Riot has recently released a teaser that teases much of the forthcoming content in Wild Rift during this event.  A new game mode, a new “meta-game,” new objectives, and, most importantly, new skins are among the major contents.

Wild Rift players, in particular, will be treated to an exclusive story centred on Yasuo and Draven competing in the Tournament of Souls, similar to those seen in previous Sentinels of Light and Star Guardian events. Those who wish to put their talents to the test can participate in the mobile title’s limited-time “Tag Duel” mode, which plays similarly to a tag fighting game.

The Soul Fighter cast will also appear drastically different in Wild Rift compared to Lol, with none of the LoL skins making their way into Wild Rift. Instead, Wild Rift will receive six unique skins that only its players will be able to use, including Nilah’s debut skin.

All new Fright Night skin splash arts revealed in League of Legends https://notagamer.net/fright-night-skin-splash-arts-league-of-legends/ https://notagamer.net/fright-night-skin-splash-arts-league-of-legends/#respond Mon, 12 Sep 2022 11:25:45 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=51283 With these brand-new Fright Night skins, things are about to get more frightening in League of Legends as we approach Halloween

Riot Games has updated the Gothic skin line in League of Legends, making it more terrifying and likely to make players tremble with horror and terror.

The new Fright Night skin line, which will include Annie, Draven, Renata Glasc, Trundle, Nautilus, and Urgot, was previewed during the dev vlog: Champion and Preseason 2023. Ironically, Nautilus was not hinted to have the skin at that time, but he will nonetheless make his debut in the skin line.

With the Halloween event likely to begin shortly, these new skins have arrived just in time. So, let’s go through the specifics of the Halloween event and what these new skins may look like.

Each of the Fright Night skins looks to be a reference to Tim Burton’s work, a director known for his impact on the horror genre. Some of his films include The Nightmare Before Christmas and Beetlejuice, both of which appear to have had a direct impact on the designs of Fright Night Urgot and Renata Glasc.

To frighten players, the new skins use classic horror color schemes such as black, purple, red, and orange. Only the concept art for the skins is presented; no names have been revealed, but we’re confident that these will be available shortly.

New Fright Night skins revealed on League of Legends PBE https://notagamer.net/fright-night-skins-league-of-legends-pbe/ https://notagamer.net/fright-night-skins-league-of-legends-pbe/#respond Thu, 08 Sep 2022 16:54:36 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=51030 League of Legends’ devs have officially announced a slew of new skins that will be available with the forthcoming patch update. This features the much-awaited Fright Night skins

League of Legends players are in for a treat, as several champions in the game will receive new skins to coincide with the impending Halloween season.

Leaks from the community have long supplied information about these skins. It couldn’t be taken seriously, though, until Riot Games verified it.

The Fright Night skin line was one of the most eagerly awaited skins. This is due to the fact that it is a revised version of Gothic. Azir’s Worlds 2022, and Sylas’ Ashen Knight cosmetics are also expected to be released alongside.

The champions included in the new horror-themed Fright Nights skin line will be Urgot, Draven, Trundle, Renata Glasc, Annie, and Nautilus. However, for the time being, only the splash arts for Urgot, Annie, and Draven have been revealed.

These skins were initially hinted during a quick preview of this year’s Champion and Preseason 2023 vlog, when it was announced that the Goth skin line, which won a vote to be updated earlier this year, will be turned into Fright Night. Surprisingly, Nautilus was not hinted to be a part of this set at the time.

Riot appears to have settled on a gloomier design for the new Gothic skin line, with some decorations and characteristics that let the mind to wander and remember about beloved Halloween movies.

However, fans can’t help but note the missing of several champions from the previous Gothic skin line like Orianna and Amumu, whose skins are in desperate need of updating.

On the bright side, this is the first time Urgot and Trundle have gotten skins since Trundle joined the Dragonslayer realm in 2020. Urgot has a Pajama Guardian Cosplay skin for April Fool’s Day the same year.

With Halloween spirits floating in the air, these skins are expected to be released with Patch 12.18 on September 21.

League Patch 12.10b: Buffs and Nerfs to champions after the recent Durability Changes https://notagamer.net/patch-1210b-buffs-nerfs-champions-durability/ https://notagamer.net/patch-1210b-buffs-nerfs-champions-durability/#respond Sat, 28 May 2022 04:29:55 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=45898 League Patch 12.10b will feature buffs to some champions who are struggling in their roles and nerfs to those who are a little overpowered

Image via Riot Games

Riot Games changed the League of Legends meta with Patch 12.10, which included a game-wide durability update that provided champions extra defensive stats across the board. Following the adjustments, the devs have already begun to update certain champions.

Matt “Phroxzon” Leung-Harrison, the lead designer for Summoner’s Rift team, indicated that Patch 12.10b will be launched immediately as a remedy to address some of the champions most impacted by the durability update.

Champions buffs

Fighter champions aren’t the best performance when it comes to longer games, especially Renekton and Kled, who is scheduled to receive buffs to their role as they both struggled on the first day of the patch. Both of them will receive cooldown reduction improvements, and Renekton will also have his Q scales better in the late game.

In the mid lane, Diana’s W and E are getting buffs to boost her position as a burst mid laner and jungler. Vladimir’s durability will also be improved by extra healing from his Q.

Draven’s passive money from champion kills has been dramatically improved, as has the additional damage on his Q. Yuumi will also receive buffs to her E’s heal and mana usage.

Champions nerfs

As the game became longer, more late-game champions such as Kayle and Senna grow stronger. As such, Senna’s basic health and passive damage will be reduced to make her more fragile in lane. Kayle is receiving some minor buffs to her basic health growth and MR, as well as a decrease in damage to her E on-hit attacks.

Taliyah is facing some severe nerfs after her mini-rework rocketed her back into the game as a mid-lane priority choice. As a result, she will see significant decreases in her additional movement speed, as well as nerfs to her Threaded Volley and her Unraveled Earth.

These Patch 12.10b changes are now live in League and the full update’s description will be uploaded soon.

New Draven Ult can execute THOUSAND of damage https://notagamer.net/new-draven-ult-can-execute-thousand-of-damage/ https://notagamer.net/new-draven-ult-can-execute-thousand-of-damage/#respond Sat, 28 Aug 2021 15:47:47 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=37624 Draven Ult is the new Collector…

As fans have already know by now, Riot is planning on making changes to some certain champions in patch 11.18 and 11.19 as they wanted to “undoubtedly” impact the meta in Worlds 2021.

Previous professional matches have been extensively examined by the design team. At Worlds 2021, they want to give more tactical and synergistic diversity, as well as strategic thinking stimulation and appeal to audiences globally.

One specific champion that Riot wants back in the meta is perhaps Draven. He also got a small adjustment on his ult that would erratically put him back in the meta. However, this wasn’t a small adjustment at all, in fact, it was a “HUGE” adjustment.

New Draven Ult can execute THOUSAND of damage 29
Image via Riot Games

Draven’s new ult

New Draven Ult can execute THOUSAND of damage 30

“If Whirling Death would leave an enemy champion with less health than Draven’s current League of Draven stacks, he will execute them.”

Basically, the more League of Draven stacks he gains, the easier he can execute the enemies. The stacks can be gained through catching an axe, killing minions or destroying a turret…

For some players, this change is kind of reasonable because it actually fits the champion playstyle and personality really well. For the gameplay, though, comes with a lot of controversial statements.

Players assume the change is too broken and can immediately affect Worlds, players can stack up from the early game and, if played carefully throughout the mid game, they could use their ult to execute a full-health champion in a combat. Some, on the other hand, think the mechanic is actually fine since Draven can only execute 1 person and he doesn’t gain much stacks as often (usually 200-300 stacks per kill).

According to Riot, his passive and ult – Whirling Death still has a lot of untapped potential so the adjustment can alter as it hits live servers. Until then, this Draven change is available on the PBE for players to test out.

Worlds 2021 preparation patches: more champion and meta balancing from Riot https://notagamer.net/worlds-2021-patches-champion-meta-balance-from-riot/ https://notagamer.net/worlds-2021-patches-champion-meta-balance-from-riot/#respond Sat, 28 Aug 2021 12:10:00 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=37580 Riot Games aimed at creating more playstyle diversity options instead of having dominance picks and meta at League of Legends Worlds 2021.

Major changes are at the horizon for Worlds 2021.

League of Legends fans is well aware that the game always releases modifications before each Worlds. Riot, on the other hand, has undergone a completely different development than in prior years.

Worlds 2021 preparation patches: more champion and meta balancing from Riot 32

Riot Games intends to adjust the strength of champions in League of Legends this year, rather than concentrating on fan requests or expectations. The publisher and organizers do not want the event to become a showcase for the strength of hot champions in the current meta, sacrificing fairness and diversity in professional players’ playstyles.

Riot Games’ creative director, Jeevun “Jag” Sidhu, stated that two patches, 11.18 and 11.19, will undoubtedly impact the meta of League of Legends in order to prepare for Worlds 2021.

The design team has thoroughly analysed previous professional matches. They intend to provide further tactical and synergistic diversity, as well as strategic thinking stimulation and appeal to audiences worldwide at Worlds 2021.

The developer also believes that the “unexpected” and “unique” strategies will be able to return to the biggest professional event of the year – Worlds 2021 – as Miss Fortune Support did at Worlds 2016, or as the bot lane Sona-Taric combination did for a while.

Sidhu also stated that he will not allow champions like Viego, Gnar, and Leona to dominate the meta of Worlds 2021 and therefore reduce the event’s variety. Furthermore, champions with a low pick rate will receive a significant buff – as Corki was mentioned in a Twitter post with a list of buffs up to 3 pages.

Lillia and Draven will also benefit from League of Legends’ creator. Only a short time after the release has the number of Lillia players dropped dramatically, and Draven has been absent from the professional arena for an extended period of time.

Worlds 2021
Image via Riot Games

Riot expressed a desire to bring the two champions back to the professional League of Legends arena by increasing Lillia’s attack speed and healing ability. Ultimate – Whirling Death and Passive – League of Draven still has a lot of untapped potential – according to the development team.

Update 11.18 known as “Worlds-A” is scheduled to be released on September 9 – about half a month before Worlds.

Preseason strategies: Some Builds You Should Try With New Items https://notagamer.net/preseason-builds-and-items/ https://notagamer.net/preseason-builds-and-items/#respond Sat, 14 Nov 2020 11:27:22 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=26060 Preseason 2021 has arrived! How do you feel about the new shop and items? Let us know.

1. Akali

Akali has come out quite strong from all these changes. Presence of Mind was technically nerfing for her by lowering the energy cost at later stages. Also, these new items work splendidly for her. First, let’s talk about runes. For rune to be running Conquer, Presence of Mind, Legends: Tenacity Last stand and Taste of blood and Ravenous Hunter. Like before the high amount of adaptive force and sustain this load up provides is very very strong.

items

And now for items, the most popular Mythic item right now is actually Riftmaker. Conqueror allows you to convert some of your damaging to healing, Riftmaker convert some of your damage into true damage, put them together and you basically have an even stronger version of the old conqueror Rune.

2. Fizz

Fizz is also starts strongly this season with some new items. Night Harvester is now an AP item, so it’s time to talk about some other assassin mythic. Your item of choice for Fizz is going to be nice. This season, Protobel proved to be a powerful wave clearing tool, but it isn’t as effective this time around. It also now grant a rush of movement speed but you actually prefer Harvester for Fizz if speed is what you seek. The reasoning is pretty simple. If you think about how big is typically plays his fights is land shark, jumps in, goes for a kill and tries to get out. Would you rather have movement speed before you jump in or would you rather have it after ? With the long engage range of physical damage, it’s simple conclude you would prefer to have the movement speed after work Protobel is typically used to start a Chase or follow up on a chase not when you’re trying to escape. On top of this Harvester is a great item for attempting to pick up multi kills without slippery Fizz. It’s quite reasonable to assume that at some point during a fight, you’ll manage to hit all of his five enemies.

Preseason strategies: Some Builds You Should Try With New Items 34

3. Draven

For Draven, we should run Conqueror or Press the attack, followed up by Over heal, Legend bloodline, Cut down, Manaflow band and Celerity. The reason you need Manaflow band is to ensure that you don’t unfortunately run out of mana. You’ll be spamming W a lot. Insularity works well with his W as well. For your Mythic item, you want to go for an Immortal Shieldbow. This item is great for Draven. It  can help himClutch it out and fight his way through dire situations. Life has been moved to this item in wallet, provides an immense Shield. It also provides a burst of 15% extra lifesteal for 8 seconds, when you fall low on health. All other items gain bonus attack damage and he little bit of bonus help as well making this a great survivability option for Marksman players.

Preseason strategies: Some Builds You Should Try With New Items 35

4. Janna

Janna also becomes powerful. She is one of the most prominent enchanters right now because of how vital she disengages perusing to be. Running Summoner Airy, Manaflow band Transcendence, Gathering storm, Eyeball collection and Relentless Hunter. Now for items, we got a bunch of new ones that Janna can make it an excellent use of. The imperial mandate is a powerful Mythic item for Janna as she has plenty of crowd control to work with. Tagging enemies with your slow or knocking them up with a tornado will mark them, allow your allies to deal bonus damage. For items, you’ll build Imperial mandates, Ionia boots of Lucidity, Ardent censer Redemption, Staff of flowing water and Mikael’s crucible. While you can trade out various items as you see fit, Staff of flowing water seems to be an excellent purchase on enchanters. It provides a burst of movement speed for both the castor and the ally that is being supported.
