One of the game’s main developers, Riot Games’ August, believes LoL is in a less than ideal state for the current meta in League of Legends heavily favors Corki and Tristana in the mid lane for various reasons.

During a Twitch stream on June 6, August delved into the details of the current state of League, focusing particularly on the mid lane dominance of Tristana and Corki. He expressed concerns about the impact these two champions are having on the game. Although he believes they will likely be nerfed, he is not convinced that this will fully address the issue.

“Personally, I agree with you that Corki and Trist being in the meta is probably pretty rough and I don’t think the game looks like it’s in a great spot when those two AD Carries that are really safe are the ones you should be playing in mid lane,”

While acknowledging that Corki and Tristana are not “optimal” for the current state of League, August also pointed out the difficulties in balancing the current meta due to other gameplay dynamics.

Like, AP junglers are currently very strong and popular, which August sees as positive for League. However, this popularity has increased the demand for AD-based mid laners to ensure teams have a diversified damage. Currently, Corki and Tristana are the best options.

August further explained that other mid laners, such as assassins, are not picked in the current meta because they are weaker and less suitable. He suggested that Corki and Tristana might simply be overpowered and in need of nerfs. However, he also proposed that making other AD champions viable could be a better solution.

“They might just need nerfs. But in a meta where you need to run a physical damage mid laner to account for your magic damage jungle, if there’s only two physical damage mid laners you can run, that’s going to look like these two characters are completely broken, “

Currently, both Tristana and Corki are extremely popular in high-ranked solo queue. In the 2024 LPL Summer Split so far, they have a 100% pick and ban rate, according to Oracle’s Elixir.

Fortunately for those tired of the current state of the mid lane, significant changes appear to be on the horizon. Riot Phroxzon has hinted at major adjustments for both Tristana and Corki, possibly coming as early as Patch 14.14.

The current meta of the summer professional arena can be sum in two ADC champions: Tristana and Corki, dominating the mid lane and leading to boredom for viewers.

This current season has seen an AD-centric mid-lane meta, with marksmen champions consistently appearing in this role and maintaining a very stable win rate. Specifically, Corki and Tristana stand out as the key marksmen in the mid lane, and teams are eager to secure one of these two champions.

ADC Midlaners are dominating LoL and yet no nerfs were given 4

Statistics from recent Summer tournaments highlight this trend, with Tristana and Corki boasting presence rates of 85% and 64% respectively. Their dominance is evident as they surpass other popular mid lane picks such as Taliyah or Leblanc, who have a presence rate of less than 45%. This clearly demonstrates that Corki and Tristana are exceptionally powerful picks, causing significant issues in the professional scene.

In summer regional tournaments, the LPL typically commences early, and as soon as LPL teams began heavily utilizing these champions, other regions quickly recognized their advantages.

Corki and Tristana offer reliable damage, strong laning phases, and flexibility, making them ideal choices in a meta that emphasizes mid lane and carry junglers. This understanding has led to their high presence rate in matches.

patch

Riot Games has released 3 updates since the start of the summer tournament, but apart from a slight nerf to Corki (after his rework) to balance his damage, there have been minimal changes affecting these champions. Consequently, teams continue to use Corki and Tristana extensively in all matches during the Esports World Cup.

The community is growing tired of the lack of creativity in champion selection for carries, and there is hope that Riot Games will implement significant adjustments soon. It’s noteworthy that Tristana not only dominates the professional arena but also enjoys high popularity among regular players, yet Riot has maintained her status across several patches.

In contrast, during the Spring season, the meta focused on control mages, with Orianna and Azir being the top picks. This resulted in a more balanced champion presence, with various viable counterpicks, rather than the current scenario where teams feel forced to choose between just two champions.

The mid-lane meta revolving around only 2 champions is causing a sense of monotony in new tournaments like the Esports World Cup. It also indicates that the remainder of the summer tournaments may follow a similar pattern unless Riot Games introduces a significant update to shake up the meta.

In League of Legends, players can buy skins for their champions to give them cosmetic updates. Players receive distinctive audio and visual impacts from them that distinguish them from the basic champion.

While the majority of the skins are easily obtained through Hextech crafting or the in-game shop, some are uncommon and cannot be purchased there. The Riot Girl Tristana skin is one of them.

A Legacy skin named Riot Girl Tristana was first made available in 2009. It was one of the complimentary skins Riot offered in exchange for establishing a social media connection.

Riot Girl Tristana, Dreadknight Garen, and Unchained Alistar could all be acquired by subscribing the League of Legends facebook page, but sadly, the activity came to a stop in 2018 when Riot chose to vault the skin and remove it from the in-game shop. Due to its difficulty in obtaining, this skin has since become increasingly rare.

The skin wasn’t on the reward table, so players couldn’t use Hextech to obtain it. As a result, for the past couple of years, there was no means to obtain the skin.

Fortunately, Riot recently made the skin available for purchase once more, so players can now obtain it.

How to get the Riot Girl Tristana skin?

One of League’s most Rarest Skins is on Sale, and Here’s How to Get It 12

Start by launching the League of Legends client’s in-game shop. On the Champions tab, click it. Then, you can select the Bundles choice from the menu. Toggle it. In the “Fan Favorites Bundle” package, Riot Girl Tristana can be seen like in the above picture.

Riot Girl Tristana’s price, 975 RP, is included in the package price. However, the price of the package will be considerably more expensive if you don’t already own the 20 champions that are part of it.

Congratulations, you have just obtained one of the rarest skins in League of Legends. Good luck and have fun testing it in all of your games.

Riot Games has finally confirmed the reintroduction of Spirit Blossom to League, following an original teaser. The Spirit Blossom skin line, which was first introduced in 2020, is one of League of Legends’ most popular skin lines. Many players still regard it as the greatest skin the game has ever gotten.

Syndra, Tristana, Soraka, Evelynn, Sett, Aphelios, Yorick, Darius, and Master Yi will be joining the Spirit Blossom skin line this time. Master Yi will also get a Prestige skin for his new look.

Each of these skins portrays these champions clad in light, Eastern-style clothes and adorned with mysterious pink blossoms.

When Spirit Blossom 2022 was revealed, many were concerned that the event’s skins would fail. Fortunately, players thought the skins were absolutely fantastic. Many people believed that their design, color palette, and aesthetics were appropriate for the theme.

It’s uncertain whether all of these skins will be released at the same time. However, they are expected to be separated across two patches to keep players interested in what is anticipated to be at the Spirit Blossom event.

Players may expect to return to the realm when at least some of these skins become available with Patch 12.19 on October 5.

The outcome of the event is difficult to predict. Fans of League of Legends will only have to wait two weeks to receive the full image of the event.

Big changes for MSI Patch and how they affect the meta https://notagamer.net/big-changes-msi-patch-affect-meta/ https://notagamer.net/big-changes-msi-patch-affect-meta/#respond Mon, 02 May 2022 13:25:06 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=44984
Big changes for MSI Patch and how they affect the meta 23

Riot has revealed adjustments for the forthcoming patch 12.8 as the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) approaches. How will they affect the tournament meta, and who will benefit the most from all of the buffs?

Following the live server release of patch 12.7, the balancing team has focused on the following adjustments. Patch 12.8 will be the official version of the game that professional players will play in Busan, Korea.

Patch 12.8 has gone live for a few days now with the prospective buffs and nerfs to the champions. Contrary to what happened in the first few months, Riot has implemented big modifications in the aim of shaking up the meta.

Mage champions receive significant buffs in the MSI patch

The first thing to highlight is the buffs to many mage champions, both in the jungle and the mid-lane. Zoe, Kassadin, Xerath, Vel’koz, Sylas, and Fiddlesticks have all gotten significant buffs, which should push them up the priority list. Not to mention, Swain underwent a mid-scope update recently, attempting to bring him back to the solo lane. Zoe is the major champion we should be looking at from a competitive standpoint out of all of these champions.

Image via Riot Games

Following the champion’s nerfs last year, Zoe has vanished from the meta. While some pro players did pick her, she was not widely chosen. Given that her Q and ultimate are spells she frequently casts, the mana cost enhancements will undoubtedly help her poke more frequently during the game.

ADC will see more champions in the MSI meta

Aside from AP Champions, marksmen are also prominent in this patch. First and foremost, Jinx and Xayah are the two champions that have received nerfs in this patch. Because of her Lethality build and massive bursts, Xayah has been the highest performing ADC, while Jinx has been a good option since late season 11.

The nerfs won’t completely remove them from the meta, but they should be enough to give other ADCs some chances. Having said so, it would be fascinating to watch if teams try to innovate their drafts with alternative ADCs or stay with their comfort zone. Tristana gets a little buff with her AD growth, which will still be about 8 AD when she reaches level 18. While the buffs are slight, she may definitely be a decent situational choice, especially if she can flex between mid and bot lane.

Ultimately, these are the most significant changes in patch 12.8. The Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) is planned to begin on May 10, giving teams little time to prepare for the year’s first international tournament.

League Patch 12.2 buffs Samira, Rylai’s Crystal Scepter, and others https://notagamer.net/league-patch-12-2-buff-samira-rylai-crystal-scepter/ https://notagamer.net/league-patch-12-2-buff-samira-rylai-crystal-scepter/#respond Wed, 12 Jan 2022 05:43:56 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=41295 In the forthcoming League Patch 12.2, new chances will open up for a range of champions and playstyles in League of Legends.

League Patch 12.2 introduces several adjustments to the game, many of which benefit heroes and items that have suffered since Season 2022 began.

Riot Phlox, a League designer on the Summoner’s Rift team, went into depth about the enhancements that would follow League Patch 12.2. Many of these improvements, as well as the abundance of nerfs included in this patch, are presently available for testing on League’s PBE.

Many of the patch’s buffs revolve around restoring set damage to champions that incurred net losses as a result of item changes, like as buffs to Yasuo and Yone’s Q ratios and Samira’s R damage. Buffs to Veigar are also available in the mid lane, giving him a shorter cooldown on his Q and more stacks when killing large minions and monsters with his abilities.

Changes are being made to Nocturne and Volibear that will benefit both their solo laning and their potential in the jungle. The Eternal Nightmare, who received significant adjustments to assassin-centric equipment throughout the preseason, will now have increased HP each level and a higher Q AD ratio. Volibear will do more damage as his AD gain each level increases, as does the cooldown on his E.

League Patch 12.2
Image via Riot Games

Tristana and Senna round out the expected buff in League Patch 12.2, providing two marksmen who have fallen behind in the meta a little extra love. With higher basic HP and HP increases every level, Tristana will be able to survive in lane more easily. Senna was previously announced to be getting a stronger slow on her Q, and that change is likely to be included in this patch.

League Patch 12.2 also sees the introduction of Rengar’s final adjustments, as well as significant updates to Tahm Kench and Janna. The River King’s top lane strength is being altered, with tweaks to his E dependent on friends nearby, a larger Q slow, and a movement speed gain while utilizing his ultimate on teammates. Janna’s adjustments were previously announced, but they centered on transforming her into a more supporting enchanter rather than one who thrives on poke.

League Patch 12.2 buffs Samira, Rylai's Crystal Scepter, and others 27
Image via Riot Games

Mages will benefit from enhancements that will reintroduce two long-standing AP-centric equipment into playable versions. Lich Bane has a revised build path and now offers 15 Ability Haste with a significantly increased passive cooldown. On the following attack, it will now deal half of the player’s basic AD as extra damage, but with a higher AP ratio. Rylai’s Crystal Scepter now costs 2,600 gold instead of 3,000 and grants players greater health but less AP.

Players may expect the benefits to be released alongside Patch 12.2 on January 19. These changes stated in the patch preview are preliminary and subject to change before they are made live on live servers.

Top new playstyles and builds that have been dominating Korean server in League Patch 11.16 (Part 2) https://notagamer.net/playstyle-build-dominate-league-patch-11-16-part-2/ https://notagamer.net/playstyle-build-dominate-league-patch-11-16-part-2/#respond Mon, 23 Aug 2021 05:26:39 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=37299 Continuing the series of top playstyles and builds from the Korean server with the remaining candidates for League Patch 11.16.

Mid Lane Eclipse Tristana

League Patch 11.16
Image via Riot Games

What exactly is Tristana Mid’s “new” in League Patch 11.16? From the runes – Hail of Blades, Taste of Blood, Eyeball Collection, Relentless Hunter, Legends: Bloodline, Presence of Mind – to the major items – Infinity Edge, Phantom Dancer, The Collector, Lord Dominik’s Regards – it’s all familiar. The only difference is in the first item, Eclipse. What is the significance of Eclipse? What makes Eclipse stronger than Kraken Slayer in her standard builds?

If you can purchase the item before the opponent, Eclipse and The Collector make an excellent combination. You will have a substantial quantity of lethality and armor penetration in your grip at this point. Tristana has the confidence to jump in to inflict damage and then jump out safely because of Eclipse’s movement speed, additional shield from its passive, and finishing ability from The Collector that made her a monster in League Patch 11.16.

Top new playstyles and builds that have been dominating Korean server in League Patch 11.16 (Part 2) 28

Tristana’s core gameplay in League Patch 11.16 with this build will be similar to that of an assassin approaching from afar, dealing with opponents, and then retreating incredibly quickly. This will assist you to snowball extremely well, especially at the mid-game stages where you can invade the enemy jungle and spread pressure throughout the entire map. If you’ve come this far, you’ll go even further with your pressure and advantage that will lead your team to victory.

Hail of Blades – Lethality Varus

Top new playstyles and builds that have been dominating Korean server in League Patch 11.16 (Part 2) 29
Image via Riot Games

Lethality Varus is not unusual, if not very popular at the time. But that’s Varus with the Arcane Comet rune, and today’s champion is Lethality Varus, but with Hail of Blades. This playstyle was also seen briefly in LCK, demonstrating Varus’ one-shot ability in League Patch 11.16.

Hail of Blades, Taste of Blood, Eyeball Collection, Ultimate Hunter, Presence of Mind, and Coup de Grace are the complete runes that will be on your build  in League Patch 11.16. Because of his W (Blighted Quiver) passive, each of Varus’ basic attacks will apply a stack of poison arrows on the enemy (maximum of 3 stacks on a unit), then the following ability triggers “poison arrow” and delivers damage depending on a percentage of that enemy’s maximum health. Varus will effortlessly accumulate and then face a devastating Q thanks to the Hail of Blades (Piercing Arrow).

Top new playstyles and builds that have been dominating Korean server in League Patch 11.16 (Part 2) 30

Varus must be close enough to the opponent to shoot first, therefore Eclipse is a more effective lethality item than Duskblade of Draktharr or Prowler’s Claw with the extra shield and movement speed from its passive. The Muramana, Serylda’s Grudge, Edge of Night, and Guardian Angel (or Zhonya’s Hourglass) will be the items required for this playstyle in League Patch 11.16.

Hail of Blades Trundle Support

Top new playstyles and builds that have been dominating Korean server in League Patch 11.16 (Part 2) 31
Image via Riot Games

Hail of Blades Trundle, another familiar face in the Support role, has recently made a solid debut in LCK. However, in League Patch 11.16 patch’s rating, Koreans actually utilize him a lot more than ever before.

Hail of Blades assists him in dealing maximum damage on his initial three attacks, ideally complemented with the combo of Basic Attack + Chomp + Basic Attack. The Domination branch’s rest choices are Zombie Ward and Ultimate Hunter, since Chomp gives an immediate slow to the bitten target, Cheap Shot will help Trundle deal a bit of bonus damage, and Zombie Ward and Ultimate Hunter will be the better options of all for the support role.

Biscuit Delivery and Time Warp Tonic will be very interesting choices in League Patch 11.16; their aim is that when used while standing on Frozen Domain, Trundle’s healing ability will be incredibly “magical,” earning you amazing outplays potential with the extra bonus movement speed and damage from its effect.

Equipped like other tank supports, Trundle will still build Locket of the Iron Solari, Anathema’s Chains, Watchful Wardstone, Spirit Visage as his core items…

Skarner + Corki Mid Jung Combo

Top new playstyles and builds that have been dominating Korean server in League Patch 11.16 (Part 2) 33
Image via Riot Games

Korea is one of the most popular servers for using Corki, and many professional matches have demonstrated how strong Corki is late game. But what is it about Corki + Skarner that has gamers clamoring for it in League Patch 11.16?

Skarner will focus on “camping” to take care of Corki for an obvious cause. Although they appear to be ordinary and unremarkable, these two champions complement each other quite well. Skarker is particularly strong in single capture moments, with the ultimate oppressive that will hit pointing right at the target; with Turbo Chemtank, the ganks get even easier. When combined with the Phase Rush rune, the opponent will still get hauled out by Skarner’s incredible speed even if they hide in their turret.

Top new playstyles and builds that have been dominating Korean server in League Patch 11.16 (Part 2) 34

Corki is a very weak champion in his early phases, thus boosting him will be a “guaranteed investment.” Corki, in addition to Skarner’s ability to capture single targets, works extremely well with Packages. When the other lanes call for assistance since Skarner is “taking care” of Mid, Corki can personally assist the other lanes using Teleport and Package. If there is no mistake in the early stages, Corki will become uncontrollable in the late game and become an absolute monster to be dealt with.

Martin Larsson has been a talent to watch since his first debut in the finest European league in 2014. Since then, he has developed into one of the best bot laners in the European League of Legends. Rekkles, who has over 2000 kills to his name, has maintained his performance even after more than seven years as a professional player.

In G2 Esports’ most recent battle against Rogue Gaming, the Swedish bot laner recorded his 2000th kill.

He was playing Tristana, one of his recognizable champions on whom he has been consistent for years. Despite having a bad start to the current 2021 LEC Summer Split, Rekkles is picking up the pace and carrying G2 Esports throughout the tournament.

By winning against Rogue Gaming and attaining this goal, he has regained some confidence, but the team as a whole still has a long way to go.

Personally, G2’s ADC is pushing ahead with others bot laners in the tournament, with the second-highest KDA in his role at 7.8. The Swedish bot laner has also had relatively few deaths this split and has maintained his strategic playstyle even after playing for G2 Esports.

With a crucial victory over Rogue Gaming and having 2000 kills, Rekkles and G2 Esports finish the fifth week of the split with a 6-5 record.

Tristana has a very high DPS and Burst Damage thanks to her abilities in her kit. Her abilities scale extremely well with both Attack Damage and Ability Power.  In this guide, we will take a look at the best runes, spell, build, including tips and tricks to take over the match with Tristana in League of Legends: Wild Rift.

Tristana - Wild Rift Guide 37

Runes

Tristana - Wild Rift Guide 38

About rune, Fleet Footwork seems suitable most for her as this grand her Movement Speed and Healing. In addition, her kiting skill will be more annoying to deal with for Close Ranged Champion. This is a common rune equipped by a marksman that focuses on basic attacking. The additional Movement Speed and healing are a great help for marksmen to sustain in lane and during a team fight.

Summoner spells

As for summoner spells, Heal can be an alternative to Barrier but if you consider surviving in combat longer, stick with Barrier. The barrier can also help you survive longer against assassins like Zed, Akali, or Evelyn.

Builds and items

Tristana - Wild Rift Guide 41

Infinity edge: This is the main offensive item for marksmen. As Tristana depends heavily on his basic attack to deliver damage onto enemy champions, Crits are essential to her kit. Thus, this is a must-have item for her.

Statikk Shiv + Rapid Firecannon: These items run extremely well together as well as with Fleet Footwork. Moving and auto-attacking constantly turn her into a killing machine.  In addition, it gives Attack Speed and Crit Rate which is essential for marksmen.

Bloodthirster: This item acts as both a defensive and offensive item. It gives Tristana better survivability and dueling capability with the shield and Physical Vamp. and provides more Attack Damage.

Mortal Reminder: a must-have item if you are up against a tank.

The Gluttonous Greaves: gives Movement Speed, Physical and Magical Vamp.  This is essential for Tristana to gain additional mobility and heal herself during fights and laning. Additionally, with Quicksilver Enchant: Tristana will be able to cure herself of crowd control abilities when she gets caught by enemies.

Tips and trick for Tristana

Early game

In the early game, Tristan should aim to do small trades and avoid all-in if possible. As she out scales most marksmen in the late game, she does not need to play aggressively for leads in the early phase. Make use of Tristana’s Ability 3, Explosive Charge passive and active, to win small trades during the landing phase. As there is a delay to Tristana’s Ability 2, Rocket Jump, work with a Supporter toward out common ganking spots and use the ability to reposition as soon as spot any fishy and threatening activities in the surrounding!

Mid game

During team fights or skirmishes, if a high threat enemy champion gets too close, use Ability 2, Rocket Jump first, then while in mid-air, use Ultimate, Buster Shot to immediately widen the gap between Tristana and the enemy threat. Focus on damaging the closest target unless there is an opportunity to instantly delete enemy priority targets (the carries).

Late game

This is when Tristana becomes huge. A hyper carry. By level 12-15, with the item build, most of the time, Tristana can hit an enemy with the Energized attack and walk away, taking zero damage. Use this to your advantage, try landing your Energized attacks on main carries, it should get them somewhere less than 80% health, getting a massive advantage for your team.

Tristana counters

Strong against: Miss Fortune, Ezreal, Vayne, and Varus.

Weak against: Mundo, Malphite, Singed, Zed, and Evelynn.
