LoL Patch 14.13 weirdest but OP builds

Aatrox Overlord’s Bloodmail

League of Legends: Top 5 weirdest OP builds on Patch 14.13 1

The Aatrox Bruiser build made a strong comeback in 14.12 when the champion received a significant buff in his ultimate. No longer equipped with Lethality, Aatrox returns to familiar items such as Black Cleaver and Sundered Sky with stats suitable for dealing damage and staying long in combat.

However, there was one item that few people noticed that was very suitable for Aatrox, and that was Overlord’s Bloodmail. With Passives increasing AD based on missing health, this item will provide Aatrox with significant damange in combat, or 1v1 solos. In addition, the increase in AD is also significant as the current Aatrox is built according to the Bruiser gameplay.

Olaf Zeke’s

League of Legends: Top 5 weirdest OP builds on Patch 14.13 2

After Hecarim, another champion that is very suitable for Zeke’s build is Olaf. With a cheap price and extremely suitable defensive stats, Zeke’s is considered the third item that helps Olaf expand his power in a superior way in the middle and end of the match.

The passives from this item not only give Olaf more damage, but also provide the ability to slow down, which makes it better to chase down enemies when this champion does not have hard control. With the role of sweeping into combat thanks to his ultimate, Olaf is the most suitable champion to optimize the power of this equipment.

Of course, before that, Olaf couldn’t do it without some items with strong healing ability, at the moment, it is the Ravenous Hydra and the Sundered Sky.

Katarina AD Bruiser

League of Legends: Top 5 weirdest OP builds on Patch 14.13 3

Having emerged many times and then disappeared due to various edits, AD Katarina build is back in patch 14.13 with a very high efficiency in the Mid Lane.

Instead of the usual Blade of the Ruined King, Katarina’s first piece of item would be the Stridebreaker. Not only does it provide damage, the ability to slow down opponents, but the 450 Health stat from this item also makes Katarina stronger in the early stages. This makes it possible for Katarina players to be more active in combos to close down on enemy champions early.

Next, this champion will aim for attack effect items to increase her DPS, of which Kraken Slayer and Terminus are the most optimal choices. With this Bruiser playstyle, Katarina will find it easier to close in on enemy champions, taking advantage of mobility to disrupt the fight.

Nilah Death’s Dance

League of Legends: Top 5 weirdest OP builds on Patch 14.13 4

Instead of building in the usual crit build, Nilah is being tested by many masters with new item upgrades. The Essence Reaver will be available as soon as possible to ensure early damage, especially the ability to suck mana to spam while on the lane.

However, the second item will be more unique with the Death’s Dance, which is a common item in bruisers. Obviously, for a melee ADC like Nilah, this item will help players feel more confident in the fight. Especially with the bonus of 40 Armor, Nilah will have a great advantage when facing other Marksmen. In the end, Dominik’s Crossbow was chosen as the 3rd item.

Bard Warmogs

League of Legends: Top 5 weirdest OP builds on Patch 14.13 5

An extremely interesting gameplay in the emerging Support position is Bard in the direction of dealing Damage. This champion will be able to take advantage of Passives to create a unique set of items, thereby creating discomfort for opponents when laning.

Blood Song will be a necessary upgrade to increase Damage from auto attacks, while Wits End will give Bard more AD as well as a certain amount of MR.

However, just like the trend in recent times, Warmogs is the main dish that needs to be put on first as Bard’s unique build. With the ability to kite and inflict constant control, Bard has time to pull in combat, thereby making good use of Warmogs’ passive.

T1 Keria apologized for changing his World skin at the last moment https://notagamer.net/t1-keria-apologized-world-skin/ https://notagamer.net/t1-keria-apologized-world-skin/#respond Tue, 26 Dec 2023 03:51:35 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=68387 Keria recently conducted a poll on his Instagram account, creating a buzz among T1 fans as the team prepared to release commemorative Worlds 2023 skins. In an interesting turn of events, the support player decided to deviate from the popular vote at the last minute, opting for a champion that resonated with him personally.

This began with Faker, T1’s iconic player, choosing Orianna over the more conventionally popular Ahri. This departure from the expected set the tone for the emotional journey that T1 fans would embark on.

Following suit, Keria found himself torn between two champions, eventually leaving the decision to his followers through an Instagram vote.

T1 Keria chose Bard over Renata for the Worlds 2023 skin

Despite the fan rallying behind Renata, Keria remained uncertain about this choice. In a surprising twist, he reached out directly to Riot after the deadline and disregarded the popular vote to select the champion that truly spoke to him.

Not content with this decision, Keria took to Instagram once again, pitting Renata against Bard and allowing his fans to influence the final choice. Predictably, Renata, being the more popular champion, emerged victorious in the poll.

However, T1 support player, despite having submitted his decision to Riot, made a dramatic last-minute alteration, settling on Bard.

This decision, though somewhat ironic given Faker’s usual preference for Ahri gameplay, is expected to resonate profoundly with the fanbase. The community’s fervor, especially for the Faker Ahri skin, is palpable, driven by the prospect of owning a piece of esports history tied to the iconic player.

Interestingly, fans are also expressing enthusiasm for the Bard skin, considering it a much-awaited addition for a champion that has not received a standout cosmetic in years. Despite the possibility of T1 Renata Glasc being the selected skin, fans appear to be satisfied with either choice, showcasing support for their favorite team.

While Jayce may not have generated the same level of hype among fans, the release of the second season of Arcane is anticipated to provide a crossover effect, potentially boosting the skin’s popularity.

Shan Hai Scrolls skins were originally debuted in 2021, and they included explosive motions, brilliant orange-and-red colorizations, and vibrant visual effects with sparks and flames. The latest additions to the skin range this time are more quieted down, with blues, greens and greys dominating the skins’ abilities. The new Shan Hai Scrolls skins, if anything, give off a “dusk” vibe, whereas the old ones seemed subtler.

The Shan Hai Scrolls skins will be available on live servers with patch 13.12, which is set to be released on Thursday, June 18, 2023.

Bard got disabled from League queues because of his Magical Journey interaction https://notagamer.net/bard-disabled-league-queues-magical-journey/ https://notagamer.net/bard-disabled-league-queues-magical-journey/#respond Sat, 23 Apr 2022 04:32:08 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=44642 League of Legends’ all-time “favorite” support champions Bard has encountered a game-breaking bugs that Riot Games had to take immediate addresses
Bard got disabled from League queues because of his Magical Journey interaction 18
Image via Riot Games

Bard has been a champion that receives many bugs across the game, this time, he is disabled due to another in-game issues.  Riot is working on a solution towards the interaction, according to a notification in the client, which can be accessed by clicking the red warning button next to the play button.

According to Vandiril’s video, the problem appears to be caused by an issue with Bard’s E interacting with either Anivia’s wall or Trundle’s pillar. If a player uses Bard’s E and then exits into a building built by Anivia or Trundle, the game will collapse for all players. This interaction looks to be unpredictable and will not work every time, but it is still a significant problem for the game, especially in ranked games.

Thus, Riot disables the champion, which prevents him from being played in any game mode, including ARAM and ranked games. It is unknown when Bard will be reintroduced into the game again, but Riot is anticipated to fix the issue as soon as possible.

Bard got disabled from League queues because of his Magical Journey interaction 19

For many patches, Bard has been a solid yet controversial choice in the support role. He is commonly picked by players wishing to make a roaming and ganking playstyle due to his unique Magical Journey of traveling the map, and the ability to set invulnerable state for both allies and enemies, but isn’t always an easy champion to learn.

This Bard Bug has returned into the game after 4 years 2

For now, it’s unknown when this weird bug between Bard and Anivia or Trundle will be resolved, enabling Bard to be selected in-game again.

Pro players are abusing Support Smite sololane with more champions in competitive tournaments and here’s why https://notagamer.net/support-smite-sololane-more-champions-in-competitive/ https://notagamer.net/support-smite-sololane-more-champions-in-competitive/#respond Sat, 12 Feb 2022 04:05:19 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=42257
Pro players are abusing Support Smite sololane with more champions in competitive tournaments and here's why 20

Support Smite solo laner have taken over League by taking advantage of the objective bounty system

Beginning with Janna top who switched to Smite and completely abandoned their roles by roaming, the tactic has made its way into pro play and is already demonstrating additional alternatives for being effective outside of Janna. Both Bard and Poppy were recently selected in competitive tournaments, and both choices won using the Support Smite approach.

Why pro players are abusing this strategy with more champions?

Pro players are abusing Support Smite sololane with more champions in competitive tournaments and here's why 21
Image via Riot Games

Support Smite solo lane take use of the new bounty system introduced around the preseason 2022. By building support items, leaving their lanes entirely and instead putting pressure by frequently roaming, ganking, and capturing objectives. As the opposing laner gains a free laning phase and expands their gold lead, objective bounties become active. This helps the other roles on the team to earn more gold by creating a false loss, and through that, securing objectives will grand more bounties.

Essentially, enchanter supports were first the preferred selection since they required little gold to be effective. New choices have made their way to the highest level of competition, with appearances in the PCS and LJL adding Bard and Poppy to the strategy.

Deep Cross Gaming’s mid laner Hsu “Nestea” Bao-Yuan chose Smite Bard mid in the PCS. Bard is already encouraged to roam in order to harvest charms, and his magical trip skill provides great mobility over terrain for ganking.

AXIZ’s top laner Yoshiki “YellowYoshi” Fujimoto used his trademark Poppy in the LJL. YellowYoshi was a well-known Poppy streamer before going pro, thus the strategy worked effectively. Poppy’s crazy CC kit allows her to provide a lot of utility even with a small amount of gold.

With the strategy dominating the meta, Riot Games intends to nerf the Support item sololane with the arrival of patch 12.4. Following their choices, both AXIZ and Deep Cross Gaming won, indicating that the nerfs are essential in order to put an end to this approach.

Bard newest Bug that enables his Meeps to be targetable https://notagamer.net/bard-newest-bug-that-enables-his-meeps-be-targetable/ https://notagamer.net/bard-newest-bug-that-enables-his-meeps-be-targetable/#respond Mon, 13 Dec 2021 02:44:13 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=40372 One of the most unique part that makes Bard stand out to other Support champions is his ability to generate his little companions known as Meeps. These bright beings follow him about and are used each time he hits, providing him with additional damage.

Bard Bug that makes Meeps targetable

Having so, Meeps are still only a part of VFX of Bard in the game and cannot be targetable by skills and auto-attacks. Yet recently, a player discovered an interesting bug involving these Meeps blocking skillshots from champions. A Reddit video shows a Bard player employing a Meep to absorb a hook from an enemy Thresh.

Similar to the situation, a video posted by Vandiril yesterday also showed Meeps taking skillshots and auto-attacks from enemies.

Bard newest Bug that enables his Meeps to be targetable 22
Bard newest Bug that enables his Meeps to be targetable 23

In the video above, the first clip shows the opposing Xerath throwing his stun toward Bard and instead it hits a Meep, stunning it and saving him. The second clip continues to exploit the bug, having the Meeps binded by Lux and targetable by Jinx’s auto-attacks.

This bug is very similar to the previous Lulu bug with her passive, Pix. The issue appears to be that Lulu is no longer considered the game’s target; instead, Pix is. Now that these bugs have transformed Pix into targets instead of Lulu, players and turrets have no way of knocking her down.

Other players also discovered that the Meeps may also block turret damage, as seen in a Twitch video. Given the severity of this possible bug, Riot Games will most certainly release a patch for it shortly.

Riot drops the newest skin line Cafe Cutie for Annie, Vladimir, Bard and more https://notagamer.net/riot-drops-skin-cafe-cutie-for-annie-vlad-bard-more/ https://notagamer.net/riot-drops-skin-cafe-cutie-for-annie-vlad-bard-more/#respond Wed, 03 Nov 2021 03:28:45 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=39490 With a bright and cheery new skin range showcasing a variety of champions, Riot is bringing back its tastiest stylings

Riot Games has released the newest skin line for League of Legends, Cafe Cutie. The new skin line takes the idea of a fanciful cafe to a whole new level. Annie, Gwen, Sivir, and Soraka are among the characters who will receive a skin, which fits with the quirky coffee shop’s aesthetic. Others, like Vladimir, tried to put a comedic spin on a much darker figure, with varied results.

Bright pinks, rich purples, and golds with white porcelain are a prevalent aesthetic theme in the skin line. It’s a lot more optimistic perspective on cosmetics for League of Legends champions after skins like Dragonmancer, the Ruined skin line, and more.

With the cutie content that fits the female champions, Bard and Vladimir seem odd yet Riot still makes them match with the Cafe Cutie theme.

Cafe Cutie Bard has received accolades in especially for how well it implements the notion of animated food. Bard takes on one of the most absurd conceptions of sentient dishware, drawing evident inspiration from Disney’s animated series.

And for Vladimir, after a streak of bleak and dark variations on champions, the skins appear to be adding a touch of color. It’s not a skin line that every Vladimir player will be dying to get their hands on, but the majority of the new skins are too sweet not to persuade at least some of them.

The upcoming Cafe Cutie skins are expected to cost 1,350 RP apiece, like with most new skin releases, though Riot has not yet confirmed the official.

The skin line will be available for testing on the League PBE soon, and the skins will most likely be released on live servers later this month.

This Bard Bug has returned into the game after 4 years https://notagamer.net/bard-bug-has-returned-into-the-game-after-4-years/ https://notagamer.net/bard-bug-has-returned-into-the-game-after-4-years/#respond Tue, 06 Jul 2021 13:03:37 +0000 https://notagamer.net/?p=34980 Bard main is surely happy about this…

Vandiril has returned again with another video exposing Riot developer team, this time is about Bard ulting turrets.

In the clip, Bard can freely attack the enemy Nexus turrets even when the inhibitor remains intact. After the video was posted several hours, fans were already beginning to criticize Riot, mocking them for letting this bug back in the game. Some even said that this is a new advanced Bard tech or even a new “feature” in the game.

Bard bug with Nexus turrets

This Bard Bug has returned into the game after 4 years 30

This is actually a bug related to Bard using his Ult on to the Nexus turrets. Apparently, Ulting Nexus turrets as Bard right before an inhibitor respawns causes them to remain targetable after they leave stasis and the inhibitor has respawned.

This is perhaps due to a misleading understatement when the Nexus turrets come out of Bard Ult, the system mistakes them for the outer turrets that are outside the base. This causes those turrets to be targetable even when the inhibitor has respawned.

Funny enough, this bug was first dated back in 2017, apparently, it keeps happening even though it’s hard to happen in a pvp game but it had been around that time for some months already. Few days afterward Riot had announced that the bug had been fixed so that players could enjoy the game, it seems that this is not the case since the bug has finally back.

This Bard Bug has returned into the game after 4 years 31

Bard has always been an annoying champion when it comes to both teaming up and facing against him. Even with this error, he is even more challenging to face. We hope that Riot will immediately fix this once and for all when it comes to Bard and turrets.
